Rainfall showerhead rocks!
We went back-and-forth as to whether to do a normal showerhead or rainfall showerhead. We elected to go with the rainfall and absolutely love it. You can also pivot the head if you want more of an angle. It goes well with the matching handheld.

Where can I find a round, flat shower drain that matches the champagne bronze finish? I’ve purchased everything in champagne bronze and I can’t find a shower drain that is flat for my tile shower floor. Thanks!

Can this head be fixed to a wall mounted spout, directed at a 45 degree angle? Or does this need to have a ceiling mount and come down as in the picture. Will the pressure be distributed evenly at a 45 degree angle.
Jeffrey, I know you asked this 10 months ago but I thought I would answer so as maybe to help anyone else with the same question. We mounted our 52160 12" shower head on a Delta Faucet RP46870 16-Inch Shower Arm. We love this shower head and found this arm to be the perfect match, as it can bring the shower head out an appreciable distance from the wall. We've used the shower head both tilted at a 45 degree-ish angle and pointed straight down. We have sufficient water pressure that swiveling the head out at an angle gives a great shower experience but in the end we prefer it pointing straight down because of the 16" arm.

What is the difference in showering experience between the 1.75 GPM and the 2.5 GPM?

You will have more pressure from the showerhead with the higher flow rate. However, you will still have a satisfying showering experience with the 1.75gpm model as well.
The 1.74gpm model is a WaterSense labeled product and uses at least 20% less water than the industry standard—saving you money without compromising performance.
