I purchased a Delta Raincan Shower head #52283. Previous Delta unit - holes became clogged where water came out. How do I keep this from happening to the new shower head? Is there a recommend procedure to clean the holes?

Thank you for your question. We recommend to soak the Delta 52283 shower head in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution for an hour or even overnight to clean the debris from the shower holes.

Hello Is there a water limiting device in this shower head and can I remove it?

Thank you for your question. The Delta 52283-RB Single-Setting Raincan Shower Head does not have a removable flow restrictor. Unfortunately, modifying the shower head may result in voiding any warranty the shower head may have. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Is this unit meant to be installed overhead like a rain-can type head or can it be installed angled like a traditional wall mounted shower head?

What is the recommended shower arm and need 3 square scutcheons for this 6 1/2” raincan and 2 arms. We have the integrated diverter T27967 and would like a square scutcheon to match these 3 fixtures.

Can the shower head be taken apart to be cleaned? If so, how?

The showerhead is not designed to be taken apart. If there is a buildup of mineral deposits inside, we recommend soaking in 50/50 white vinegar and water, then rinsing.
