Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very well made. Classy. Bought on Amazon. Instructions are easy to follow. Sturdy with solid components. The city shanks are fastened to the sink with heavy duty nylon nuts. Other companies now use slim metal pieces that span the hole and that you have to crank down on the vitreous china. Disconcerting at best and an accident waiting to happen at worst. The faucet looks good and works well. Highly recommended.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very Loud This faucet was chosen by Delta to replace my 2 lav faucets N540CBWF which were chrome w polished brass cap, aerator and plunge lever. It also had the older style springs and washers. The new 525LF-MPU with the one piece valve is much louder to the point it is very noticeable. I had to replace the original 2 because of an intermittent leak coming from the bottom of the faucet. Delta has gone the wrong way in improving this faucet!

what does the term "city shanks refer to" ?

Thank you for your inquiry, Jack! The term "city shank" refers to a certain faucet build. It is a ½” male threaded brass metal shanked supply inlet that can be directly connected to via thread or sweat. These are required for metro areas that do work with housing authorities, typically for NYC and Chicago. Best regards, Tanya

I have a well that runs 30/50 psi (pump on/pump off) so the time average pressure is around 37psi and the flow is very slow compared to the flow at 60 psi for municipal water. Are there any solutions available?

Conventional Faucets: 20 - 100 psi Pressure Balanced & Thermostatic: 30 - 100 psi High Flow Thermostatic: 45 - 100 psi ShieldSpray: 40-75 psi (Outside of this range the bubble does not hold together) Please contact us back for any further questions. 525LF-MPU. The Delta states this faucet is "No Lead Compliant". At Zoro a disclaimer appears "This item is not suitable for, and CANNOT be used in, potable water (human use) ..." Old stock? Website error? Are they lead free? Explain disclaimer
