Shower Valve
Hi there,
Please give me item numbers of automatic compensating shower valves, both thermostatic and pressure balancing, meeting ASSE 1016 and OK to use with ultra low flow shower heads such as this 1.5gpm unit.

Hi Gary, Thank you for your question. Our RP46074 single function pressure balanced, RP46463 dual function pressure balanced, and RP47201 thermostatic cartridges all meet ASSE 1016. All of the cartridges will work with the model 52653-PK shower head.

Can new faucets boost hot water pressure throughout house? I would like them to water-saving also. Can you recommend faucets for kitchen and baths that are above builder grade and tried and true best sellers?

Thank you for your question! We apologize that the information you are searching for was not readily available and I am happy to assist you! We thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer.
No Delta Faucet products can increase or decrease the hot water pressure/flow in your home. The most common cause of a low flow rate is debris. The best way to clear any debris is to flush the supply lines. To do this, turn off the water supplies, remove the cartridge, and turn the supplies back on for one minute.
Please make sure that you are getting good flow through both the hot and cold sides while flushing. You can also shake the cartridge back and forth to make sure the back half of the cartridge rattles. This means that the pressure-balancing spool is moving freely, as it should. If it does not, you can try soaking the cartridge in white vinegar for about 15-30 minutes.

I have this model. 52653=pk. It says lifetime warranty. The water flow has slowed down markedly. I soaked it in vinegar but it did not help.
