Excellent piece!

Good coverage, easy to install
This Delta shower head is easy to install and provides good coverage with the size of the head. I like that it has the ability to be a full coverage shower head or have the middle section work for a massage type shower head. It also has the ability to stop the flow of water when lathering up, but it does not fully stop the flow as I noticed water still dips considerably from the head. This is a nice idea and even with the water still dripping it is considerably less water than if you leave it at either of the other settings.
It is very easy to clean and seems to have less build up on it than my previous shower head and we have hard water so that was a nice surprise. The black color is perfect for my shower and is a good looking color, that has a good shine to it.

Great showerhead
I love this shower head. It has 3 settings. In the center, it has the most pressure and is great for daily showers but the rain feature is amazing for relaxing and enjoying the moment. It really does feel like rain. This setting washes away my stress. It's the perfect size for a standard shower, hasn't clogged and is easy to switch between settings. It was super easy to install and has held up well after 2 months. Well made
of quality metal. My husband is impressed too and he had built more than one bathroom in his life. I would recommend for anyone looking to upgrade to a more modern showerhead.

Large!
This is a nice large sized shower head. I love the different settings for water spray. The size is nice because it spreads the water out without loosing water pressure. It's very modern looking and I highly suggest considering this shower head!

Simple and nice

However, at least I do have another option available just in case. The water flow is not the best, which is why I gave it 4 stars. I paired it with the Trinsic line.

Beautiful product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shower head was well packaged and arrived in a timely manner. The gold is a really nice color that goes well with the rest of the Trinsic product line. I ended up returning the product as I kept the shower head that came with the shower kit, but would’ve kept this one if I had a bigger budget for my bathroom renovation. Will definitely consider it again for any future bathroom renovations.

Water your new shower

Truly a rain "shower" head.
Good quality heavier material construction. With the almost 8" shower head, it provides plenty of water for hair washing and cleaning. Its a gentle wash. If you prefer being pummeled by streams of water, this is not the shower head for you.

Great Design and Feels Amazing
Just installed this on a master shower. The finish is super up to date and visually reads a crisp black. My customer let me know that the water flow is perfect in spread and power. Really gets the shampoo out and doesn't make me feel like there is not enough pressure! Always a plus, especially with the tighter restrictions for flow in California!!

Good all around showerhead for ceiling, bad install washer.
The shower head has a nice finish and is easy to keep clean. The rubber nibs make it easy to keep buildup off the water outlets and keep the water flowing like it is new. It produces good water preasure and flow. I have it installed on the ceiling as a rain style head. Changing between the spray patterns is very easy and the swivel to angle the head works well. My only issue was with the rubber washer that it comes with to install on the shower outlet pipe, it is very weak and if you tighten the shower head down to stop leaks the washer goes inside the pipe and you have to start over. I ended up going to the hardware store and buying a heavier duty washer and it installed without issue. I have noticed this is an issue with all of the delta shower heads.

Love this shower head! Robust construction: metal ball connector, the rain can itself is probably all plastic but it feels super solid. This head has only three settings: pause, spray and H2O, which is what I was looking for - excellence in simplicity. The first setting is pause, and it really is a "pause", water flow is reduced to a trickle. Second position is spray, producing a wide, comfortable shower experience. Unlike other Delta water-savings shower heads I've tried (58480-SS-PK In2ition), no sharp needle jets here! Third is H2O. I didn't think I'd use this setting, but for rinsing out shampoo, it's great. I paired this ran can with Delta 54424-PK SS, looks sharp. Highly recommend.

Poor - Would not buy again
This "three setting" shower head really only has two settings - and neither provide an acceptable shower. The flow restrictor can not be removed. This shower head, that has been used a total of two times, is going in the garbage. Waste of my money.

Not what was expected
We remodeled our bath this summer and bought this showerhead. It is advertised as having three settings. Well the third setting is a "drip". I was told people use this when they are lathering up (turn on "drip" mode then lather and then return to other setting). This does not make sense to me. I would not buy another one.

spray width? add hand held?
What is the spray width for this shower head on a wall mounted shower? Also, can you pair this with Delta Faucet 54433-SS-PK? I want to add a diverter and include the hand-held.
Hi Jeff, Thank you for your question. The model 52688-SS showerhead features a 7-11/16" spray head. You can install a shower arm diverter like our model U4920-SS-PK and use the 54433-SS-PK hand shower with the 52688-SS showerhead. If you would like an in wall diverter system you would need to order the R11000 diverter rough and a diverter trim that would match your faucet trim. You may want to go with the model 55433-SS wall mount hand shower with this set up.

Does this shower head have a water restrictor in it? If so, can it be removed?

Will this head, 52688, work with shower arm RP46870?
