Pros and Cons
This delivers on the promise to provide a rain shower experience, however the rain itself is less torrential storm and more spring shower. Compared to my previous jet oriented shower head, this one provides notably less pressure, however the water is evenly distributed and is still enough to get the job done assuming you don't already have low pressure to start. It may take a bit longer but it works. Gives off less spray (because of the lowered pressure) which makes squeegeeing easier. Another small thing is that because the water is being spread out more so, it feels a bit cooler which is fixable by of course increasing the temp.

The Delta 8" Single Setting Raincan Showerhead 1.75 gpm product is an amazing shower head! The most elegant beautiful one I ever seen. Super easy to install, it does not require many tools and I could do it myself in less than ten minutes. The size is perfect for my small shower. The pressure of the water is good and the material of this product is resistant. The finish matte black is modern and easy to clean. I love the feel of the water on my body and it feels so relaxing after a busy stressful day. It is like being under the rain in my shower. Delta products are always high quality and this one is no different. I truly recommend it and you can see in this picture below the size of the product.

excited to try this
so i received this as a test product and am very very excited to have it installed and to try it officially. i have not been able to have it installed in my own home yet but a friend has a similar showerhead and oh my goodness was it nice! just how it felt and how the water pressure was, it was very nice. would recommend.

This is like a rain storm. It is simply amazing even my kiddo likes to take showers. It’s a even flow and it is absolutely huge. It is was easy to install. I definitely recommend to treat yourself with this rain fall shower head.

Higher Pressure Needed
The showerhead is really nice and it was very easy to install. It looks great in our shower and works well with our existing setup. However, it has been very disappointing that it takes much longer to shower now. With such low pressure, I feel like I'm never getting all the shampoo/conditioner out of my hair. It also seems to take a long time to rinse the soap off of my body. I was really disappointed.

Your kids and grandchildren will think you're cool and you will love the shower head as much.
This is a very cool shower head and it makes task of taking a shower more fun. Our grandson was sleeping over one night after the shower head was installed. He loved the flood of water.

Worked well at first
Happy with it at the start but due to bad design it has failed after just a year. Bottom is all plastic that snaps into metal frame. Water pressure eventually got to it causing plastic bottom to pop out. Water now pours out the edges where plastic meets metal. Will only buy shower head with all metal design with sealed outer edges that are not snapped together for now on.

Great pressure for rain head fixture
I looked around for a rain head that was between 8-10 inches wide with good pressure yet water saving at the same time for my rental. So far I have had the Delta shower head for 6 months and it is great. I live in San Diego and have to deal with hard water stains but the Delta cleans very easily to keep it looking nice and new!

Delta Rain Shower Hrad
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installed this Delta universal swower head with our bathroom remodel. Yes it does feel like you are standing in the rain. Plenty of flow even with the water restrictions required here in California. The only complaintis and it's really very minor, is this hower head drips occasionally when using the hand held shower wand! The plumber who did the intallation said that dripping was possible.

Hello, is this shower head compatible with shower arm, U4999. And can I use this in combination with the 52684, U4993, T24867 and R22000? Sorry long question, but I would like to make sure they all work with one another. Thank you.

Thank you for your question, Greg. The shower arm is sold separate. We recommend a 90 degree shower arm and flange such as part number RP46870 and RP6025 or a ceiling mount shower arm such as RP61058.

I purchased both the ceiling shower head #52841 and the shower arm & flange #RP61058. But I don't have the shower valve, can I use a delta 13/14 series 72264 or any other water valve?
