Delta faucet
Make sure you check the gallons per minute amount on any faucet you buy. We failed to do that and are not happy with the amount of water that piddles out of the faucet. Sure this is a new standard, but wishing we would have research that we do like the faucet otherwise very nice quality.

Great looking but splashes!
We like everything about these new faucets except the stream starts wide, it's a rectangular not circular outlet at the spout, and the water stream necks down at the bottom where it hits the sink to a thin, fast stream and splashes on us and the counter!... whichever restrictor or handle volume setting we use!! The outlet grid needs to be redesigned to keep the flow wide and reduce the constant splashing. We have many Delta faucets without this issue. There's a similar Vellum design where the spout doesn't turn down at the end and has a standard circular outlet at the end... I'd try that one. We are redoing another bathroom and still using Delta (because the warranty and service has been outstanding for the last 40 years!) but not one with a rectangular outlet until the splashing issue is fixed!

This product is comprised of numerous components, yet its assembly is straightforward and requires minimal effort. Maintenance is rarely required when the product is kept clean. I have the velum single handle sink faucet and it came with a round aerator remover. Mine is rectangular. How do I remove the aerator for cleaning?

The installation instructions say to remove the aerator to flush the system. How does it come out. You provided a tool but I'm still baffled.

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 539-BLMPU-DST.
The aerator is not designed to be easily removable. Anything that could be caught by the aerator should be caught by the flow regulator first in the hose connection below the sink. For this faucet model, skip step 4 and use step 5 to flush the faucet.

We have a Delta 537-CZMPU-DSY that was installed as part of a complete bath remodel about one week ago. It has a slow drip that the contractor has been unable to fix and he now wants to “rebuild the guts of it.” How hard is it to just get a new faucet?

I have relatively new set of Vellum Model 539-ssmpu-dst. Love the faucets but installer did not flush lines before connedting. I believe part number RP90441 is partially clogged. How do I access this through the sliding plate that is underneath? How?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 539-SSMPU-DST.
Recommended maintenance for reduced flow is cleaning the flow regulator and screen located in the hose connection below the sink.
RP90441 is not designed to be easily removed. It is held tightly with friction and may be difficult to remove without potentially damaging it or the faucet. Using a small hook and carefully working it loose might remove it without damage. Needle nose pliers typically ruin it.

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 539-CZMPU-DST.
This faucet has an aerator installed in the end of the spout. This faucet is different from some others in that the aerator does not determine the maximum flow through the faucet. There is a flow regulator located in the hose connection below the sink that can be removed and cleaned. Any debris or sediment that could be caught in the aerator should first be caught in the flow regulator.
