A solid quality product.
I read the reviews before I bought and saw a lot of whining about splashing when the water stream hit the sink. Knowing this ahead of time, I asked the plumber to set the water pressure and place where the stream hits to compensate for it. That was all I had to do. I have four of these faucets now and two of them have been in the house for over teo years.

Great quality
Great quality sink faucet. Not your cheaply made plastic stuff! This will hold up for a long time. Installation was pretty easy, for my husband. Works well, gives out a good amount of water and easy to use.

Perfect faucet
The Delta 553LF-SS-R is an excellent bathroom fixture. It's stainless steal is beautiful and easy to clean. Installing the faucet was easy. We love the clean lines of the design. We will definitely purchase more Delta branded products.

Awesome style

I absolutely love this faucet, the finish is absolutely beautiful! It is simple and the temperature of the water can easily be changed with the one handle. It looks perfect in my bathroom! I highly recommend this Delta faucet for any home!

Modern Looking & Quality Built
This fountain has a beautiful modern looking appearance. It looks great in my half bath vanity that I installed it in. The water comes out in a nice pattern which does not splash all over the place. The stainless-steel finish does show some fingerprints maybe a little more than I would like though. Functionally the fountain works flawlessly when in operation. I like the fact that both the hot and cold are in the same handle which is nice in the morning to kind of nudge it to the same spot to get the water warm to wash my face and get ready in the morning without having the adjust two separate handles. As far as installing the product everything is included in the box to mount the fountain to my sink but if you are doing a new install like me you will need to get some adapters and waterline hoses to thread onto the fitting on the hot and cold intake of the fountain. Installation complexity was in line with other fountains I have installed over the years so no complaints there. I am not sure what warranty a “non” re-furbished fountain comes with but this one comes with a 10 year warranty according the card that came in the box. Honestly if it was not labeled as refurbished, I probably would have never known as everything looked brand new when I was opening the box and inspecting the fountain itself. Functioning normally thus far and I do not expect that to change for a very long time.

Newly installed vero faucet looks great but water splashes everywhere. Does it not have an aerator?

I have 2 of your model 553LF single handle bathroom faucets. They've been great for the year and a half since they were installed. How do I remove the stream straightener without damaging it?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 553LF-SS-R.
The stream straightener can be removed with long nose pliers. Pull it out slowly to avoid damage. See the maintenance and installation manual for more information:

Can I use scutcheonn plate with Vero faucet sink? My sink has 3 holes. Thanks
It looks like in the specs that this faucet comes with an extension so that it can work with a vessel sink? Is that right?
