Installed this a couple of months ago as part of major bathroom remodel. Wanted an adjustable bar that didn't stick out from the wall, as the shower is narrow. You can either screw it into the tile or use adhesive tape provided. I used the tape but it came loose within a week or two. I then added some caulk, and so far it is holding until I decide exactly where I want to permanently mount it with screws. Note: The slider/pin mount is plastic and it seems it could break off through repeat mountings/dismounting of handshower. I was told you cannot buy just that piece if does break, so I am very careful with it!

How do you remove the top chrome "cap" in order to slide off clear acrylic adjusting knob and slide new one backm on glide bar?

The end caps slide off. It may be necessary to carefully pry them off from the back to avoid damaging the finish.

I have a 30" Delta Shower Bar and the "thing" that holds the shower head does not hold the head in place. I have tried tightening up the screw but it does not hold. Is there Is there anywhere I could purchase just the "thing"
