Is there a way to remove the flow restrictor in the hand set of the 55799-SS? The water pressure coming from the wand leaves something to be desired.

Hello Flick, Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta H2Okinetic Wall Mount Hand Shower 55799-SS model. This unit is designed with a 1.75 GPM at 80 PSI flow rate and there are no removable inside parts for increasing or decreasing the flow. Best regards, Tanya

Is there like a 2 way diverter to go with this so I can switch back and forth between it and the shower head? I see there are 3 ways diverter trim but it's kinda weird to have that and only 2 fixtures

Hi, Heili! Thank you for your question. Our 3 way diverter assemblies work with two shower components as there will be two individual settings and one shared setting. If a shared setting is not wanted, we do have a 2-way diverter cartridge that will fit our diverter trim kits that is sold separately. The 2-way diverter cartridge is part number RP71717. Is there a shut off control on the wand?

The stream selector button on the wand is stuck in a single position and will not switch. How best to correct this? I have socked in vinegar and water solution and doesn't have any affect.

Hi, Which rough-in valve would I use for the installation of the 55799 hand shower with the Modern 14 series shower faucet trim kit and shower head T14267. &nbsp;Is a separate diverter required or any other parts for a complete finished assembly?

To add two or more components you can use the diverter rough-in valve or you can use a shower-arm diverter if you are only installing one additional component. If extra cleaning is needed, a solution of 50% distilled white vinegar and water could be used by wiping, spraying, or soaking for 30-60 minutes. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward and wipe dry. Vinegar can permanently damage porous rock surfaces such as granite or limestone countertops. I am in the mix of remodeling my bathroom. I I would like to connect model # T 17499 tub &amp; shower as well as 55799 universal shower handle. Can I have all 3 connected to one diverted assembly. If not what do I need to make this possible

In order to install the 55799 hand shower with the T17499 tub and shower trim, we would recommend using a 3-setting 2-port diverter trim such as T11899 (with R11000 diverter rough) to switch between the showerhead and hand shower settings. You would also need a wall elbow such as 50570. The tub spout should be plumbed to the bottom port of the R10000 mixing valve rough. We do not recommend plumbing the tub spout to the diverter.
