Have you corrected the paint peeling on hose on Matt Black? Lots of reviews are saying that they love it, but the paint is chips easy and peeling.

Is there an approved way to install the mount without drilling (i.e. with some type of adhesive)? If so, can you share the steps and approved materials?

Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta H2Okinetic Wall Mount Hand Shower 55799-BL only has the one type of installation, using brackets and screws.

What diverter valve is used with the T17299 series shower unit?

Thank you for your question. The matching diverter for the Pivotal collection is T11899 or T11999. Either trim will use the R11000 Rough-In Valve.

We also have an integrated model that combines the diverter and 17 series trim. These use an R2200 Rough-In Valve instead.

Does this hand shower attach to a Delta 3 Hole Roman trim set up? Is there an adapter to connect it to the tub faucet?
Thank you for your question, Blye D! The hand shower on 55799-PN, can be used with a Delta Roman tub trim, that uses an R4707 rough in valve. That hand shower would be included with Delta Roman Tub model T4799-PN, which would need to be installed with the R4707 rough in valve. I did not receive the part that attaches to the wall where the hose comes out. it looks square and hides the elbow connection. I have neither the elbow or the decorative cover. Please help.

I requested a list of everything I needed to purchase for this unit. . . to install it and provided a picture of the setup (from your own website). Your team DID NOT identify this as a separate product that needed to be purchased. Using the 55799 hand held shower sprayer in the shower, a) do I need a diverter valve to shut off the shower while the hand held unit is in use? b)
b) what is the pipe size, thread and protrusion from finished wall to be able to attach the hose, also does Delta make a 90 degree adapter in polished nickel that transition from the copper pipe from the wall to the adapter and then to the hose for a more professional look?
Thank you for your question. To switch water between the shower head and hand shower you will need a 3-Setting Diverter. You have two options for a diverter.
One option is an in-wall diverter, which consists of the R11000 Rough-In Valve and a T118_ Diverter Trim Kit to match your shower valve trim. You will also need a supply elbow for the hand shower hose, such as the 50560, which connects to a1/2" threaded pipe.
