Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice addition I think I’ll come to love this more when I’ve had it longer. It will be useful for cleaning the shower walls too. I thought I’d use it more for when I’m shaving my legs, but it hasn’t been a NEED. It’s great for making sure I’ve got all the shampoo and conditioner out of my hair though. My husband likes it for the extra water pressure. It’s easy to use and looks nice. You will have to wipe the face down to remove water spots, but that just means you’re keeping things clean more frequently, so I consider that a win.

This came in the perfect time to try out because we live in the mountains and have very hard water. The hard water causes our shower heads to clog and we have to replace two a year. This one is quiet and really relaxing with the six different settings. Love that it detaches to make showering much more better. Definitely recommend!

I like that you can adjust the water that comes out of the head to your preferences. And I love that you can take it off the wall holder mount to rinse off your legs and feet easily.

Is there any adapter that I can use to install this shower directly to the shower arm?

Could this be installed in combination with the Vero Monitor 17 T17253-RB-WE

Hi YooperAnnie, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 55884-RB. This hand shower can be used with the Vero T17253-RB-WE shower trim. You would need a wall elbow like 50570-RB or 50560-RB to provide water to the hose. What is the difference between T17253-RB vs T17253-RBWE? the difference in the valve needed between R10000 UNWS vs R10000 UNWSHS? Does the 55884 need an elbow, diverter AND a R11000 valve?

Hi YooperAnnie, Thank you for your question! The Delta faucet models T17253-RB and T17253-RB-WE are the same, except the WE model has a more water efficient showerhead with a lower flow rate. R10000-UNWS and R10000-UNWSHF can both be used, but HF rough valves feature a blocked tub port - no additional plug needed when used for shower-only. The 55884-RB hand shower can be added with an elbow, diverter trim, and R11000 diverter valve rough. Please reach out with any additional questions!
