Beautiful Faucet
I bought a new faucet with great trepidation. Most things are pretty junky these days, but I knew as soon as it arrived I had chosen well. It's heavy, sturdy, and feels like a quality piece of equipment. The finish was beautiful. Even the packing material was sturdy. It was just installed today so I haven't had a chance to use it. I hope it will perform as well as it looks.

My Ashlyn faucet is about16 months old and it is leaking from the handle. I’ve read to lift straight up to remove it but I’m unable to get it off. Would you please provide more detailed instructions. Thank you.

What is the finish on the 564SSMPUDST? Is it "brushed" or "brilliant"
Can't tell from the brochure if this faucet has a "brushed" or "brilliant" stainless steel finish. Please advise.

Does the lever have a small turn radius?
We recently received this faucet and noticed the lever has a very small turn radius. It seems it would be very difficult to control the temperature with such a small radius. Is this by design and is the lever sensitive to small adjustments?

Is the 564-MPU-DST stainless valve purchased from Home Depot or any other box store, the same as a valve with the same part number purchased from a specialty plumbing store? I have been told that the quality of the valve is different. Maybe just the cost.

Thank you for your question. We appreciate your interest in Delta faucets. All Delta faucets feature the same quality parts, materials, and workmanship, no matter what kind of dealer sells them. Delta retail dealers usually sell faucets that include the handles in the boxes. Plumbing professionals and Delta Studio Showrooms sell faucets where the faucets and handles are packaged and sold separately ("LHP" models), giving the customer some additional styling choices. However, the quality of all Delta faucets is the same.

Have already Ashlyn taps for the sinks and was going to use same for the Roman filler - reno has gone a different direction and I would like to use a freestanding tub filler...is there an Ashlyn version or what is the closest handle and spout to match?

How long is the spout from the faucet to the edge?
I need to know how long the spout is so I can determine how far the spout sits over the sink.

I have seen 2 different spec sheets for this faucet. Each has a different measurement for the distance needed from the back of the faucet to the backsplash. Can you please clarify?
