Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta bronze faucets Worth every penny. These are built to last and and are beautifully designed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Faucet I bought a new faucet with great trepidation. Most things are pretty junky these days, but I knew as soon as it arrived I had chosen well. It's heavy, sturdy, and feels like a quality piece of equipment. The finish was beautiful. Even the packing material was sturdy. It was just installed today so I haven't had a chance to use it. I hope it will perform as well as it looks.

Q&A

Any difference in quality/construction based on the retailer?

Hi, is there any difference in this faucet purchased from a big box store like Lowe's as compared to a plumbing supply store like Ferguson? My plumber told me that the ones at Lowe's use cheaper materials, and the much lower price at Lowe's than even the cheapest online plumbing supply store supports this, but they appear to have the exact same model number and specs. Also, does it carry the same warranty from Delta regardless of where it was purchased?
Asked by: Kren
Hi, Kren! Thank you for your question. The 564-SSMPU-DST will be the same exact make and quality where ever you choose to purchase the faucet at. The Lifetime Limited Warranty is the same regardless of where you choose to buy the faucet. Best Regards, Rosanna

The Hit water flow is weak and not very hot . Could you tell me if there is an adjustment I do not see?

Asked by: PJW5
Hi, PJW5! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing some issues with your Delta faucet. There is an adjustment to be able to make your faucet give hotter water. To do this, remove your handle and you will find the stem of the cartridge assembly. There is a switch on the cartridge located above the stem. Switch this to the left side. This will allow the hottest water. This will not adjust the flow for your hot water, however. For low flow at your hot side, we recommend to flush the supply lines for the flow issue. Over time, common water debris will settle in the house supply lines. Anytime the water is shut off to a portion of the home, this debris can become dislodged and will move through the pipes to be caught by a faucet. Local construction or the changing of the seasons can also cause this. Flushing the supply lines through the unit should remedy this situation. To flush the unit, we recommend the following: Start with the easy stuff: Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed. If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow. If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet. Next, check the supply lines for debris: Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply. Since the handle was left in the on position, the water will flow up the cold supply line, through the faucet cartridge and back down the hot water line into the bucket. Leave this flowing for at least 30 seconds. After flushing, reconnect the hot water line and repeat this process with the cold-water line to ensure all particles have been removed from both supplies. If you still have issues, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. You may also email at customerservice@deltafaucet.com. Best Regards, Rosanna

Asked by: Honorine
Hi Honorine, Thank you for your question. The faucet requires a 1 1/4" minimum clearance to the backsplash. It may help to use a flexible lift rod such as the RP75526 in your installation. http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp75526.html Alternatively, you can install a push pop-up assembly and cap the lift rod hole on the back of the spout with the included button. http://www.deltafaucet.com/search/results.html?q=push+pop+Chrome&num=20 Best regards, Jon

Does the Ashlyn line have an "all brass body" or does it have plastic or nylon components? If so which of your products have an all brass body?

Asked by: V12345
Hello V12345, Thank you for your question. The Delta Ashlyn Lavatory 564-MPU-DST faucet uses either metal and plastic combination or a proprietary mixture of components so that the product has a high quality, while maintaining safety control with the various temperatures of water that go through the product. For safety reason we do not manufacture an "All Brass" faucet. Delta Faucet Company takes extreme pride in the quality of its products, and strives daily to meet and exceed the expectations of our customers. Best regards, Tanya

It there an option to get rid of the red/blue temperature dot?

Wondering if that can pop out and have something else in that spot or if it leaves an exposed screw? I think the colored dot makes it look a bit cheap, and most people know how to find hot and cold. Thanks.
Asked by: RINDY
Hi RINDY, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not make another button for the handle. You can remove the button, however, we recommend to keep it in place as it will prevent buildup from forming around the set screw. Best regards, Jon

We have two of these faucets installed. One works great. With the other one, it is extremely hard to turn off the water. Is this adjustable?

Asked by: Kath
Hi Kath, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 564-SSMPU-DST. Through normal use, and depending on the water conditions in your area, the cartridge may need to be replaced. It is also possible that there is sediment or debris in your faucet. If your faucet is difficult to turn off or drips from the spout when off, I first recommend removing the faucet aerator and running the water for a minute to flush out any trapped debris or sediment. If the issue remains, the RP101762 or RP50587 cartridge may need to be replaced, depending on when the faucet was made. See the parts diagram for more information: https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-L-564-MPU-DST%20Rev%20F.pdf Please reach out for further assistance or with any additional questions! Why is it called Stainless if it shows water spots every single time you use the sink?

Asked by: cassg
Hello cassg, Thank you for contacting us, I would be happy to help you. Brilliance® finishes, designed to not corrode, tarnish or discolor for a “like-new” look for life, are developed by embedding molecules deep into the faucet’s surface, creating a bond that is virtually indestructible with an incredibly reflective shine. We recommend cleaning the faucet with 50/50 white vinegar and water, this will help get rid of any spots.
