Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible product I spent the extra money for my client to have a faucet that was not a cheap painted amazon/ikea version. Wow - was I wrong!! This faucet color started peeling almost immediately! The Kohler black faucets in the home are fine - so it is not the water or cleaning supplies - it is THIS faucet!! Total waste of money - do not purchase!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from suggestions The faucet is good quality but it should angle so it doesn’t hold water in the barrel. EI’m afraid it will show damage over time because of the iron and chemicals in our water. It’s also very low. I would suggest a longer stem and an angle to the barrel. It’s difficult for large hands to have enough room under the faucet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Minimal water flow. I wish I would have read these reviews before wasting money on this faucet. As previous reviewers have mentioned, the water flow is horrible. So little water emerges, it takes 5 minutes to warm up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t waste your money! This is by far the worst bathroom faucet! The only nice thing about it is it’s look. For a delta product it’s simply terrible and the fact that delta is selling this faucet is disappointing. The water flow is absurd. No pressure, it’s a trickle of water that makes it’s way to the counter every time someone washes their hands. Forget trying to wash your face in the sink. Ugh! Water doesn’t flow straight down. Do NOT buy this faucet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This faucet is exhausting! Installed Oct 2020, small unremovable calcium ring by Aug 2021 & now looks like this. Oh and bonus—black mold that sticks to it or sometimes just pours out with the water. Plus it holds EVERY FINGERPRINT and is very hard to clean --everything streaks and leaves some kind of mark. I did reach out Aug of 2021 and asked if I could return it, but think it was a no because it works-can’t find the email. Very disappointed in the quality of this faucet that is now an eyesore in my otherwise beautifully remodeled bathroom. :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Love this faucet, but many problems Have had three of these installed by professional plumber 7 years ago. Each one has been problematic. Spout eroded down to the metal - now it's just ugly; handle scratched over time even though never used anything harsher than vinegar; handle became harder to operate over time; handle loose and could not be tightened, set screw stripped very easily - not stuck with floppy handle. Cleaning was always a chore, hard water deposits got under handle. Replacement parts were provided, but will be replacing this with something other than this model.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible product. In less than 3 years we had to replace. Will not buy Delta products again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool runnings So cool and fun. But keep it clean so hard water residue won’t cloud up

Q&A

what is the difference between delta 568lf-bllpu and 568lf-blmpu bathroom faucets?

Asked by: carson
Hi Carson, Thank you for your question. The difference between the Delta Ara Lavatory 568LF-BLMPU and 568LF-BLLPU faucet is the drain assembly. The "MPU" means the faucet comes with a metal pop-up assembly. The "LPU" means less pop-up (doesn't come with one) assembly. Best regards, Tanya

What soap dispenser would best match the 568LF-SSMPU Ara Lavatory Faucet?

Asked by: George
Dear George, Thank you for your question. The Delta Ara Lavatory 568LF-SSMPU faucet does not have a matching soap designed for a bathroom installation. The 75055-SS is the only Lavatory Soap/Lotion Dispenser we make. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/product/75055-SS Best regards, Tanya

Stream pattern for this faucet

My wife and I love the look of this channel spout and have ordered these through our builder for our new home. However, we started to second guess having these in the kids bathroom. I cannot find a video or photo of these sinks in action online anywhere. Our concern is, due to the open channel design, if the water is turned on full will the water have tendency to shoot straight across, missing the sink and making a mess? We are wondering if we wouldn't be safer to go with a closed channel Ara faucet for the kids sinks. We still have time to make the adjustments in our order. Please let us know what you think. A video would be even better! Thanks!
Asked by: Ken1
Hi Ken1, Thank you for your question. Another option available for the model 568LF-SSMPU if splashing is an issue is to install a flow restrictor that will lower the faucet flow rate to 1.0 or 0.5 gpm. Thanks, Dave

We want brushed nickel finish...what do you suggest that is similar

Asked by: Darlene
Hi there, Darlene! Thank you for your question. The Delta Ara Lavatory 568LF-SSMPU in the Brilliance Stainless Steel finish would be the closest finish color to a Brushed Nickel. Best regards, Tanya

Is it normal for water to always be sitting in the trough when faucet is not in use?

Doing a bathroom remodel and just had this faucet put in. After the water is turned off, the front 2/3 of the trough has water remaining in it - which would mean there would always be water setting in the trough. Is this the way it is supposed to be or is the trough supposed to be slanted slightly downwards so that the water completely drains from it? Will water constantly sitting in the trough negatively affect the stainless steel over time? (I have used other trough faucets and never noticed water remaining in the trough.) Please let me know right away as l only have my contractor for 2 more days. Thanks!
Asked by: Andy
Hi, Andy! Thank you for your question. Water remaining in the spout trough is normal. Dry off with a dry towel as needed. For cleaning, use a 50% white vinegar and 50% water solution and clean off any build up as needed, if any. Best Regards, Rosanna

Hello, I am interested in the 568LF-SS. My new sink will have an overflow, does the MPU have an overflow built into the drain? Or would I need to purchase an item such as 72175-SS or 72173-SS? Do you have an image of what the MPU drain looks like? Thanks

How do you clean the filter screen

Asked by: Rick
Hi Rick, Thank you for your question! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Here is the information needed to resolve your issue for you. We recommend flushing the Delta Faucet Ara® Single Handle Channel Bathroom Faucet In Chrome MODEL#: 568LF-MPU. To flush the unit follow the directions below: 1. Remove the handle. On the lever handle, you should find a small hex screw that can be loosened with a 3/32" Allen wrench. The handle will lift off when this screw is loose enough. 2. Once the handle has been removed, unscrew the dome-shaped cap. The domed-shaped cap will unscrew counter-clockwise. 3. Once the cap has been removed, grasp the round metal stem. The valve cartridge will pull straight out. Also, remove the flow restrictor and rinse these parts. You will need to reinstall these parts later, so be sure to note how they are positioned in the valve. 4. Now, with the valve completely disassembled, place a bucket upside down over the top of the empty brass valve body. Turn the hot and cold water supplies back on and let the water run for about 10 to 15 seconds. The water will come directly up out of the valve and should mostly be deflected back into the sink by the bucket. You might have a little bit of water to clean up, though! 5. Shut off the water supplies. Reinstall all parts. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We look forward to continuing to serve you. Please feel free to contact us back for further assistance. Best Regards, Kelley

I purchased "Delta Faucet Ara Single-Handle Waterfall Bathroom Faucet with Metal Drain Assembly, Chrome 568LF-MPU". I need to know what is the minimum distance from the center of the hole to the back splash.

Asked by: WayneJang
Hello WayneJang, Thank you for your question. We are happy to help! The 568LF-MPU does not have a listed minimum distance to the backsplash. You would just need enough space to reach fingers behind the faucet to operate the lift rod. https://media.deltafaucet.com/SpecSheet/DSP-L-568LF-MPU%20Rev%20F.pdf Best regards, Bryan

Delta 568LF-SSMPU is only dispensing warm/hot water. Purchased June 2021.

Asked by: Libby
Hello Valued Customer, Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company! It is possible that flushing the product could resolve this issue with the ARA® Single Handle Channel Bathroom Faucet MODEL#: 568LF-SSMPU. To flush the product, turn off the water supplies, remove the aerator using the supplied wrench and turn the faucet handle to the full on mixed position. Turn on the hot and cold water supplies and flush the water lines for one minute. This flushes away any debris that could cause damage to internal parts. Reinstall the aerator with wrench. If this does not help please let us know. Please reach out with further questions! Best Regards, Kelley Digital Communications Specialist

Installed an ARA Faucet (model 56SLF-SSMPU). The water flow was just a trinkle, so I followed the steps you described along with those in the manual. This slightly improved the flow. But still it was not acceptable. And now the faucet will not shut off.
