Cheaply made, and the holder doesn't stay up
The whole thing feel light and cheaply made. The holder that holds up the shower head is not rotating (or adjustable) so can't change the angle, and you'd have to try really hard to screw it in place, otherwise it just drops it.

Very incorrect description and picture
Unfortunately the add online for this item and what actually arrives,twice are 2 different things. The shower head that arrives is a single setting thin rectangular head. Reorder-same thing. Told it’s a Delta problem. But it is your problem if you ordered this as per what’s advertised.

"The sliding bracket will not hold the shower head in position. I’ve adjusted it so many times and had to more or less use the hose to hold it in position, so now the hose is leaking too. Paid a lot of money for this and it is crap." Poor quality on finish
This has been a great product for the first 4 years. Now the shower head leaks and the finish on the hose is peeling off. For the price you would think it would last longer.

Required components
I purchased the 57014-RB slide bar/shower head. I'm not a plumber. I need know what additional components are needed for installation. This is being installed in an addition currently being constructed.

Thank you for your question! If you already have a shower control and diverter selected, the only additional item needed will be the supply connection, such as the 50560-RB elbow. Alternatively, you can use a 3-way shower arm diverter such as the U4929-RB-PK.

what are the materials used for each part of Model#: 57014-SS
Thank you for your question, chuck! Model 57014-SS includes a 60" to 82" stretchable metal hose and a metal slide bar. The hand shower is non-metallic as metal is heavier, susceptible to corrosion and retains heat.

Are you able to remove and clean the screen on the 57014 Shower head?

Thank you for your question. The screen cannot be removed from the hand shower, however, the Delta 57014 hand shower can be removed from the hose assembly and cleaned. To clean, soak the whole hand shower in a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water mix for an hour or even overnight.

Is this bar 1.25 inches in diameter so that it can also serve as a grab bar?

The hose looks like metal in the picture but it is plastic. Why is this not noted in the description?
Hi Cher, Thank you for your question. The features of the products are covered in the bullet points for the item. The hose on the model 57014-CZ is described as a 69" long UltraFlex hose. The metal hoses such as on model 51308-CZ will state 60"-82" stretchable metal hose. I hope this helps.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 57014 is a handshower with a wall bar. It will need a valving system with trim like the R10000-UNBX and whichever series you decide to choose. You will also need a wall elbow. We recommend the 50560.

is the 57014 a good handshower / bar to use for an ADA application? Is the slide bar adustment easy to use for an elderly person with strength issues
I am in need of a handshower on a grabbar for an elderly
woman with strength issues. Something with ease of use and
will be easy for her to change the height if needed of the handshower. I am assuming, because the slidebar is not ADA
recommended that is why the whole item is not listed as ADA
compliant. If this were not a good item for what i am looking for can you suggest what item i should use. I also like the 51508 . Which one do you think would be more appriate.
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model number 57014 and 51508 are not grab bars and are not recommended to be used as grab bars. We do offer a grab bar with a shower mount attached that can have any handshower added to it. It is model number 56302.

Is it possible to get a longer slide bar for 57011?
We are replacing a 20-year old Delta slide bar and the holes are drilled into marble at 25 1/2 inches (not 24").
Or if there were escutcheons that could be mounted behind the bar they would cover the holes.

Is there a on/off switch on the handheld itself?

Can the shower head tilt and be left in the holder to function as a standard shower head?

I want this hand held on a separate turn on from my shower head. What do I need to do that?
Thank you for your question, Mary! You can have a separate on/off and temperature control using an R10000 valve and a matching shower trim. If you would both to be controlled by a single shower valve, there are a couple of options to divert the water between the showering components.
The first is an in-wall diverter. For this, you will need the R11000 Rough-In Valve and a T11_ Diverter Trim Kit to match your shower valve trim. You will also need a supply elbow for the hand shower hose, such as the 50560.
The second option is to use a shower arm diverter, such as the U4923-PK or U4929-PK.

The slide on the slide bar will no linger hold the shower head at an angle. We have tightened the set screw as tight as we can. I would like to purchase a replacement slide if possible. It's a Lahara 57014 in stainless.

Looking for a slide bar with a shower sprayer in Champagne Bronze that will double as a grab bar. Delta 51900 does not appear to come in color CZ. Is the installation and strength of the bar for model 57014-CZ strong enough for grabbing?
Thank you for your question, Muffy! Model 57014-CZ is not designed to be used as a grab bar. The only slide bar/grab bar we offer is model 56302-PB which is Polished Brass. A Champagne Bronze grab bar could be converted to a slide bar as well by using the U6500-RB adjustable hand shower mount, however this is not offered in the CZ finish and only fits 1-1/2” and 1-1/4” round grab bars or a Delta Angular Modern Grab bar / Slide bar. Another person asked, "does the shower hear bracket pivot?" The answer was ,"yes, it moves up and down on the shower bar." That didn't answer the question! So, does the bracket holding the shower wand or head, actually pivot the spray up and down?

I have 2 of these shower heads and recently one of them is experiencing decreased water pressure. I wonder if there is a screen that might need cleaning? Both have the 50560 wall elbow and R10000 UBX valve.
Thank you for your question, BuffaloFrank! We recommend removing and checking the hand shower wand as debris could be trapped in the screen here. Removing the shower head or hose connection to the wall elbow, then turning the water on to a full mixed position may also help. Finally, we advise turning the water off to the unit, room or home, remove the handle, bonnet nut and cartridge, then turn on both the hot and cold water back on for a full minute to flush out any further buildup. We have recently purchased this for one of our client's in brilliance stainless and they would like to know what is the correct cleanser to use to clean the grab bars etc. They would also like to know what are the grab bars made of?
Thank you for your question, GCon! The Delta Premium 3-Setting Slide Bar hand Shower 57014-SS includes metal slide bar. To clean the slide bar we recommend cleaning all types of finishes with a soft cloth and warm water, along with a small amount of mild dish detergent if necessary. We do not recommend using any commercial cleaning products on our faucets, especially faucets with the polished brass finish. Many cleaners contain harsh chemicals that can damage the finish. This type of finish damage is not covered by the warranty. Also, a solution of 50% white vinegar and 50% water mix is our most recommended cleaner.
