Great product, great customer service
I have had this hand spray in my master shower for 10+ years. Great sprayer, love the three settings. But, I have noticed that if I don't use it every day, like when I travel, it "leaks": the water comes out of the gap between the black orifice disk and the chrome housing. I called Delta and they are sending me a new spray head and I have high confidence this will solve the problem. Thank you Delta for standing behind your products!

Nice unit. Love it.
I lost the hardware kit and ordered per the parts list on Delta's website. FYI, Hardware kit RP64149 for Delta 57021SS is NOT correct.

Low pressure
Three stars due to low water pressure on one of the three shower head settings, which makes that setting unusable. Other than that it has a nice weight and looks very nice.

Can the victorian slide bar be used as a grab bar? If not, is there a matching grab bar to the victorian series
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 57021 is not a grab bar, it is a slide bar for the handshower. We do not offer a grab bar selection specific to the Victorian series.
We do offer handshowers with grab bars. For instance, Delta Faucet model # 52002-DS is available in white, and Delta Faucet model # 52003-DS is available in stainless steel.

The slide bar included with Delta model 57021 is not rated as a grab bar. We do offer handshowers with grab bars. For instance, Delta Faucet model # 52002-DS is available in white, and Delta Faucet model # 52003-DS is available in stainless steel.

Pet Shower
Will this work good in a small 36x36 Pet Shower? It will be raised off the floor but overall 9' ceiling.
That bar or hose won't be too long for this small space?

Is it preferable to mount this to a stud and drill through tile or to mount using anchors and drill through grout? The instructions say for ceramic tile to drill holes in grout if possible and use anchors but this seems less secure.

You may make an adjustment on the hand shower mount. To make an adjustment on the hand shower mount, you may need to remove the plug to loosen the screw within the mount if the mount is too tight to adjust by hand.

Hose attachment
I currently own a Kohler shower with a shower head that contains a diverter at the base and would like to replace my hand shower with the Delta slide bar hand shower. The diverter has a 1/2" NPT screw attachment. Can you tell me the size of the hand shower hose and whether they can be connected without an adapter?

I am installing a delta R10000-UNWS rough in shower valve and I also want to install a hand held shower with a slide bar. Is this the right shower
Valve and how do I get the water feed to the hand held shower. When ordering the hand held does the water feed come with it and how do you turn the hand held shower on?

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 57021 is a hand shower that can be used in place of your stationary showerhead or as an addition to your showerhead. You will need to purchase trim for your Delta Faucet model # R10000-UNBX to match your handshower. If you are using just the handshower, then purchase a valve only model.
If you are using a showerhead along with the handshower, then your will need the R11000 diverter rough-in valve along with the matching trim to your showerhead to divert the water to your handheld shower.

You will need to order a valve only trim of your choice in the (RB) Venetian Bronze finish, a R10000 multichoice rough in valve, a 3 setting diverter trim model that will start with T118, a R11000 diverter rough, a 50570-RB or 50560-RB wall elbow, a ceiling mount shower arm and flange, the rain shower head of your choice, and the 57021-RB slide bar hand shower. The diverter will allow you to operate the shower head separately or both at the same time.

Hello, Is the 57021 being discontinued? When I first looked it up, the image was not there & it said discontinued. Other images are available & do not say discontinued. Thanks.

how does the slide mechanism, part #RP64155, come off of the vertical bar

On the end brackets are set screws and when those are loosened, the bar will come apart. You will then be able to take the slide mechanism will come off.

How much of this item is made of plastic...I want all of the slide bar parts made of metal including what the handheld shower bracket and the hose and the shower head itself.
Thank you for your question Dale! The slide bar is metal. This unit also has a 60-82" stretchable metal hose. Our hand showers are non-metallic, as metal is heavier, retains heat and is susceptible to corrosion.

Is it possible to just order the shower head as a replacement part? Ours fell off and broke the piece off that rotates the head to choose which spray you want. It looks like the hand shower 57021-RB Delta but the number on the shower head is A112.18.1M.

You will need to order a valve only trim of your choice in the (SS) brilliance stainless finish, a R10000 multichoice rough in valve, a 3 setting diverter trim model that will start with T118, a R11000 diverter rough, a RP50570SS wall elbow, a RP61058SS ceiling mount shower arm and flange, the rain showerhead of your choice, and the 57051-SS slide bar hand shower. The diverter will allow you to operate the showerheads separately or both at the same time.

Does this product have a removable flow restrictor?
I am considering a model 57021 handshower. Our water supply pressure is 30-40 psi, so a fixture rated at 2.5 gpm at 80 psi will actually deliver much less. Is there anything we can do about this?
Hi John, Thank you for your question. Flow restrictors are usually found in the neck or threaded end of the shower head exposed when the shower head is removed from the shower arm.
While it is possible to remove flow restrictors from shower heads, we strongly advise against it for several reasons. Flow restrictors for faucets are an integral part of most showerheads and it is generally not possible or desirable to remove them.
For water conservation purposes, most plumbing codes require faucets and showering devices to not exceed a certain maximum flow rate. Removing the flow restrictors could cause these devices to no longer meet these codes.
At 40-50 psi the model 57021-SS hand shower will provide approximately 2 to 2.25 gpm.

Thank you for your question. You will need a R10000 valve and trim to turn the showerhead on and off. If you are not going to attach the showerhead to the shower arm you will need a wall elbow RP50560-CZ or RP50570-CZ as well. If you are going to add this as a 2nd showerhead you will want to purchase the R11000 diverter valve and trim for that.
