I like the look but NOT the feel. Feels very plastic and cheap. After a whole house redo with all Delta products, this is very disappointing. Be sure when you choose your look that ALL items in the collection are worthy of time and energy and money to replace.

Great style
I reached out to Build about the hand shower and have not heard back. It seems that the slide bar is missing the top and bottom caps. Doesn't seem like it should be open? I would give 5 stars except whether a design flaw or just parts missing, the slide bar needs caps on the top and bottom.

This is a nice looking shower slide bar but a poor design. The square slot that the hand shower sits in has lost the ability to stay upright. We have tightened the screw to no avail. My husband will likely have to drill an extra set screw in to this area to get it to stay. Right now it’s unusable.

Shower upgrade!
We are so very pleased with the sleek look of this Delta slide bar shower head and shower arm. All of our appliances are polished nickel, this finish is perfect. We did have a pro plumber friend help guide us through the install. Our shower is a smaller space, so for us the water saving aspect is great. We also have harder water, this particular head is so easy to clean, I literally wipe it off easily with my finger! I love that! The slide bar has been easy to maneuver up and down, the longer hose a real bonus for movement around shower. I feel this has been an elegant and modern upgrade, which is just what we were looking for. Nice quality, sleek look, features are very good. We are pleased.

I love the high quality of Delta home products. We were familiar with the brand since we have a kitchen faucet in place.
This bathroom handshower is amazing! We have been remodeling our bathroom. It was so easy to install and use-completely functional. It looks gorgeous because of its sleek contemporary style. I use it every day and love it. It doesn't take up a lot of space You get a nice steady stream from the shower head. Great hand held for kids and dogs since it has an adjustable slide bar and super long hosehose for people of different heights. The shower head has easy to clean spray holes-so unique and modern.
Highly recommended for everyone. I have a good feeling this will last a long time. Very happy and satisfied customer with this Delta.

Long hose.
I really thought I would be more impressed considering it was Delta. The only thing that I liked is the hose. It's completely medal that stretches. I have high water pressure and it barely came out so I took the aerator out thinking that it would help but it didn't. It took forever just to get the shampoo out of my hair. I wasn't going to wait that long to get the conditioner also. I also didn't like that you have to put holes in my shower tiles just a mounted on the wall.

Perfect For Achieving A Sleek High-End Shower
I couldn't be happier with this slide bar hand shower! I has a lovely sleek and modern look in a stainless low-gloss finish. One of my favorite things aside from it's high end look is that it's adjustable. There's about a one foot difference between my husband and I and this is really nice for a shared shower. It's the little things in life make a relationship smoother. Like most stainless things expect a little difficult keeping it nice and shiny despite but it's doable.
Pro tip for installation: If you can't get a professional to handle the install make sure you gather all necessary pieces first then begin following the instructions. You may need to do some homework as well if you're not the handiest of people to learn about the construction of your walls. I helper never hurts either.

Adds a modern touch!
This Spray Slide Bar in stainless steel has added to my bathroom looking very modern and updated. It was fairly easy to install and looks great! It is easy to keep clean and shiny. I love how simple it is to adjust the height up and down so that it works great for everyone in my family. I love how long the sprayer is so I can easily bathe my three dogs and wash the bathtub out. The only issue I have had is that the water comes out in a flow that is a bit too light for me. Other than that, I am very happy with the product and it is great that it saves water!

Very modern, sleek looking stainless plastic adjustable shower arm height sprayer/shower. The install is not very hard but you must have some knowledge about how walls are constructed as well as not being afraid of working with water lines. Once installed, it works as intended, you are able to move the unit up and down the wall changing the height of the spray. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a high quality, shower head.

Simple and unique
I really like this sprayer. First I want to add it was easy to install. I think it is wonderful to be able to adjust the sprayer up and down to the height that you feel comfortable using. Very easy to clean and the overall appearence of this product looks unique and fancy in its own way!

Does this showerhead 57051-RB install as a Y connection to the main shower head or is it a separate wall mount?
I ordered it for my new house and the builder needs to know when he runs the plumbing. Thanks
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 57051-RB can be installed two different ways. We have a shower arm diverter that is installed in between the shower arm and showerhead. It is Delta Faucet model # 50650-RB. The other way to install this model is to get an in wall diverter. Delta Faucet model # R11000 is a diverter rough in. Then depending on what style shower you have, there is a matching trim for a 3 port diverter.

Dryden handshower work as a stand alone shower?
Does this handheld on a slide bar work as the only shower head if we wanted to keep a small shower simple, or should it go with a mounted shower head?
Will be for small tub shower enclosures, and want a slide bar for growing kids, but the head looks small, so wanted to know if it has sufficient spray to be the only shower head. Love the contemporary clean look, but need adequate spray.

Thank you for your question. The Dryden handshower emits 2.0 GPM (gallons per minute), which is comparable to a standard Delta Faucet shower head.

I would like to put a regular shower head, T14251-S&S, on one end of the shower and slide bar with hand shower on the other end.
I prefer separate controls for each in case I only want water from one device at at time. On occasion I would like to use both devices so two people can shower at the same time. What do I need beyond T14251 and 57051 to accomplish this?
Thank you for your question. To join Delta Faucet model # T14251-SS and 57051-SS, you will need a diverter. We recommned the R11000 diverter valve with the T11851-SS diverter trim.
This will allow you to run the shower only, the hand shower only, or the two together.
If you want separate controls for each one, then you will need two valves and T14051-SS to operate the handshower. We suggest using the R10000-UNBX rough-in valve.

I need to (temporarily) replace my 5701 Dryden hand piece with (I understand) a flow rate of 1.75 gpm with a maximum flow rate 2.50 gpm or as close as possible. Please recommend the appropriate path forward, with a part number. Thank you!

I bought the Dryden head when we purch in 2009. However, the slide bar is diff from the one depicted on your website. How long is the new one depicted? The one we have is in a bow shape approx. 31 1/2" in overall length and approx. 28" oc

Is the showered metal or plastic?

This hand shower is composed of a mixture of metallic and non-metallic materials.
We primarily manufacture our products with a mixture of metallic and non-metallic materials for safety and longevity of the model.
Fully metallic products tend to rust overtime and often hold heat which causes burns easily.
Also, non-metallic shower heads and hand held wands will hurt a lot less if dropped on your body while showering and will be a lot more light weight when holding the wand for an extended period of time.

I am interested in the Dryden bathroom collection in the spotshield finish, however the handheld shower does not come in spotshield like the rest of the collection. Why??!! Which finish best matches spotshield? Stainless? Polished Nickel?

I am looking to install both 57051-SS (hand held shower and bar) and T17251-SS (shower head and control valve). I believe I also need a R1000-UNBX or R11000 valve as well as a U4929-PK 3-way to install on shower rod. Is there anything else needed?

Thank you for your question. The Delta Dryden Slide Bar Hand Shower 57051-SS can be installed two different ways. We have a shower arm diverter that is installed in between the shower arm and shower head. The models are U4929-SS-PK or 50650-SS.
The other way to install this model is to get an in wall Diverter Rough-In Valve R11000 and matching Dryden Diverter Trim T11851-SS. You would also need the Wall Elbow 50570-SS for the hand shower hose connection. This will allow you to run the shower only, the hand shower only, or the two together.
