Simple and unique
I really like this sprayer. First I want to add it was easy to install. I think it is wonderful to be able to adjust the sprayer up and down to the height that you feel comfortable using. Very easy to clean and the overall appearence of this product looks unique and fancy in its own way!

It’s amazing!
My husband installed this and it was a lot easier than he thought it was going to be. My whole family absolutely loves the way the stream comes out and how it’s removable, the handle is fantastic and it actually looks really really nice!!! It’s also awesome for washing the dogs as well!

Simple, Durable & Good-Looking
I think one of the stand out features of this sprayer is that the mounting bar is made from metal. After shopping , what seems like every hand-held shower sprayer on the market, I was amazed to find that 99% are all plastic parts. I mean, I understand that they aren't meant to be beaten up, but I feel that the price of those plastic sprayer don't reflect a good value. This is where I feel this sprayer has a leg up on many of the others. The mounting bar is metal, with screw in hardware (not double stick tape or suction cups, like a lot of others). Which is more durable than a plastic version. The head of the wand is plastic (I've yet to find any that aren't) but it has a good amount of weight to it and the internals, of course, are metal, just like most of the rest. The one thing about this head, is that it is a single spray pattern. This is fine for me, but worth mentioning if that's not what you're looking for. That being said the pressure is controlled by water pressure and has adequate flow, so I don't mind that at all. Overall, this is a simple, durable & good-looking sprayer that should last a long time.

Water pressure is way too low
I can't even use this shower head to wash my hair because the water pressure is so low. Do not buy unless you want a very frustrating shower experience.

I always buy Delta but...

However, we have been unable to mount the bar because the parts that connect the bar to the wall weren’t in the box. Hoping Delta can help me figure this out.

Great styling, but hand wash needs more pressure.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this hand shower in a set with the 6 function control valves, the Dryden shower head and the body washes. The hand shower head is plastic, which was a bit disappointing as it seems these should be metal, but the other parts are all metal. The hand shower hose is very good quality. The hand shower head seems to not have as good a pressure as I might like, it is more like a gentle shower head. Installer says everything was easy to install and clearly labeled in separate boxes. Looks very attractive when installed. Overall an B-. Hoping the plastic pieces hold up over time, but can always buy replacements if needed. I might like a more forceful (pressure wise) hand shower, but it still works well.

Great addition to our shower!

Great Hand Shower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Built a DIY 5x5 shower, needed a way to wash the shower walls and glass. I addition has proven a better way to bath the dog!. The shower height adjustment is smooth and locks in place when you put it there. In hindsight I would have mounted the water wall feed assembly lower to provide greater range of motion for the shower head High/Low.

Outstanding contemporary look
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looking for something contemporary and this did the trick. I love the delta universal rough in valves where you're able to pick trims later at your leisure during the construction process. Easy to install I put a stud in the wall sideways during rough in to give me something to anchor to and I could wait to pick height. I wish the hand held had a little more flow but I guess that is a govt thing. Overall looks great and the dual function matching volume and temp control make it look like it was more money than it actually was. Gotta love that!

Great for the kids' bathroom
We bought this shower head as part of our new home build for the kids' bathroom. We love that the head can slide up and down the bar - perfect for selecting the right height for little ones (and adults I guess!) it looks great as part of the other Dryden collection products we purchased. The flow of water for a hand held style shower is lovely (I have tried it out as well as the kids). We have the Delta T14251 in our master bath and we just love it. I prefer the T14251 model for our shower over this hand held head - however the hand held style is a must for kids' bathrooms in my opinion so this is a wonderful choice for that. It meets all the criteria!

Does this showerhead 57051-RB install as a Y connection to the main shower head or is it a separate wall mount?
I ordered it for my new house and the builder needs to know when he runs the plumbing. Thanks
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 57051-RB can be installed two different ways. We have a shower arm diverter that is installed in between the shower arm and showerhead. It is Delta Faucet model # 50650-RB. The other way to install this model is to get an in wall diverter. Delta Faucet model # R11000 is a diverter rough in. Then depending on what style shower you have, there is a matching trim for a 3 port diverter.

is there suggested install height for the slide bar ?
Hi Annie, Thank you for your question. We do not recommend a specific height for the slide bar hand shower to be mounted. There are variables as to whether the person using the handheld shower will be seated or not, or the height of the user. The height is based on the users preference.

Dryden handshower work as a stand alone shower?
Does this handheld on a slide bar work as the only shower head if we wanted to keep a small shower simple, or should it go with a mounted shower head?
Will be for small tub shower enclosures, and want a slide bar for growing kids, but the head looks small, so wanted to know if it has sufficient spray to be the only shower head. Love the contemporary clean look, but need adequate spray.

Thank you for your question. The Dryden handshower emits 2.0 GPM (gallons per minute), which is comparable to a standard Delta Faucet shower head.

I would like to put a regular shower head, T14251-S&S, on one end of the shower and slide bar with hand shower on the other end.
I prefer separate controls for each in case I only want water from one device at at time. On occasion I would like to use both devices so two people can shower at the same time. What do I need beyond T14251 and 57051 to accomplish this?
Thank you for your question. To join Delta Faucet model # T14251-SS and 57051-SS, you will need a diverter. We recommned the R11000 diverter valve with the T11851-SS diverter trim.
This will allow you to run the shower only, the hand shower only, or the two together.
If you want separate controls for each one, then you will need two valves and T14051-SS to operate the handshower. We suggest using the R10000-UNBX rough-in valve.

I need to (temporarily) replace my 5701 Dryden hand piece with (I understand) a flow rate of 1.75 gpm with a maximum flow rate 2.50 gpm or as close as possible. Please recommend the appropriate path forward, with a part number. Thank you!

I bought the Dryden head when we purch in 2009. However, the slide bar is diff from the one depicted on your website. How long is the new one depicted? The one we have is in a bow shape approx. 31 1/2" in overall length and approx. 28" oc

Is the showered metal or plastic?

This hand shower is composed of a mixture of metallic and non-metallic materials.
We primarily manufacture our products with a mixture of metallic and non-metallic materials for safety and longevity of the model.
Fully metallic products tend to rust overtime and often hold heat which causes burns easily.
Also, non-metallic shower heads and hand held wands will hurt a lot less if dropped on your body while showering and will be a lot more light weight when holding the wand for an extended period of time.

I am interested in the Dryden bathroom collection in the spotshield finish, however the handheld shower does not come in spotshield like the rest of the collection. Why??!! Which finish best matches spotshield? Stainless? Polished Nickel?
