What shower valve and trim kit work with this shower head?

I am trying to remove a older model pendant raincan model 57140 with a new 2.5 pendant raincan 57140 and we can't get the old one removed. Got the heads off, how do the tubes get removed? They don't seem to unscrew from the plate above.

Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company about 57140-25-L! The plate would need to be removed to reveal a nut located behind the body. Using an adjustable wrench, loosen the nut and the whole thing should remove.

How far in inches does the spray spread outward? I have a shower door and don’t want the spray to go over the top of the shower door.

Can these shower heads be used in a steam shower?

We recommend that the Delta fixtures are more then 12" from the item producing steam and that you do not use the Delta product as a steam item.

What is the optimal ceiling height for this fixture? New construction bath with 10 foot ceilings. We are looking at a rain head, but were wondering if this would work with a 10 foot ceiling height. Thanks!

We recommend to install the Delta 5710-BL25-L H2Okinetic® Pendant Raincan Shower Head With LED Light on a 9 foot ceiling or taller as the total length of the unit is 14"(356 mm). This may hang too low on a lower ceiling. This also has our H2OKinetic engines that let the spray spread outward a bit for better coverage.

How long do the LEDs last (in hours)? When the LEDs start to dim, which they eventually all do, does Delta offer LEDs direct to consumer for replacement? Thanks!

Thank you for your question and we are happy to help. Delta offers a 5 year limited warranty on electronic parts (other than batteries); or for commercial users, for 1 year from the date of purchase.
