Bad engineering
As another poster said this faucet had an engineering flaw in that the handle falls under its own weight. Poor design. I would not recommend unl SS they have re-engineered this product.

Do not buy massive flaw will not stay running
Faucet handle falls under its own weight. Have to hold the handle up the whole time you’re trying to run the sink. I can’t believe I paid a premium for this junk.

Extremely low water flow
We didn't realize until after installation that the water flow is extremely low. I read the description afterwards that these are designed that way...so shame on me. We're looking to replace them with a similar-looking, higher flow model.
They're OK for a guest bath, but not the master bathroom. The wife ain't happy at all.

Great faucet that just works!
I’m not very handy, but this faucet was easy to install and feels sturdy once it’s in place. The handle moves smoothly and it doesn’t drip, which is really all I want from a bathroom faucet. The matte black finish looks great and hasn’t shown spots or wear, even with regular cleaning. I liked that the matching drain was included so I didn’t have to buy anything extra. It uses less water without affecting pressure, and the limited lifetime warranty gives me peace of mind. Overall, it’s a good looking, dependable faucet that works exactly as it should.

WHat are the differences between 581LF-GPM-PP, 581LF-HGM-PP, and 581LF-PP ?? I see the -GPM faucet uses less water but I dont see any other differences between the other models?

Will escutcheon (part number RP78358) cover a 8" centerset?
We bought this for a vanity top with a predrilled 8" centerset faucet setup. That means the the base plate or "Escutcheon" needs to be 9".
Will part number RP78358 cover the holes? If not, is there a part number that will with this faucet? Thanks.

Thank you for your question! This escutcheon plate is only 6" long and it is meant to be used as a 4" center install. Unfortunately, we do not have any longer escutcheon plates that will work as an 8" center install.

Can I get a different aerator for the 581-LF bathroom faucet? I don't like the one that came with the faucet. The water flow comes out as spray and ends up splattering all over, especially when water is turned on full blast.

We purchased the 581LF-BLGPM-PP in Matte Black and, as many others have noted, the water comes out and sprays like a shower and is not just one cohesive stream. Which aerator would be less like a shower spray and more like one stream?

Can an aerator on Single Handle "Modern" faucet model #581-GPM-PP matte black be switched out? What was installed in new bathroom remodel has a shower like spray. Too much splash is created with it and would like just an old fashioned single stream.

M using this faucet in the Dom8nican Republic on a new built villa. The stream is very low. I rep,aced it with a local store bought one and the pressure is great. The plumber says that the tube in faucet is narrow. How can I fix this?

This is a low-flow faucet designed to have a reduced flow of 1.0 gpm. The tubes should provide more than enough flow. The maximum flow rate is determined by the flow regulator located in the hose connection below the sink. If the flow rate is less than expected, I recommend cleaning the flow regulator. The stream straightener or aerator at the end of the spout can also be unscrewed and cleaned.
See step 5 of the instructions to flush the supply lines and check if the hoses are the cause of the issue.

Is it possible to adjust the max temp/min temp that can be achieved with this faucet? I have to have the lav faucets 2 degrees minimum below the set point of the waterheater to pass inspection.

Does the water come out in a solid stream, or is it like a water fall? We just had these installed and we’re unable to get a solid stream of water. Is this by design or are our faucets defective?

MODEL#: 581LF-BLGPM-PP should come out as a stream of water. We recommend flushing any new installations. Please follow the instructions below:
To flush the unit, we recommend the following:
Start with the easy stuff:
-Remove your aerator, wand or hose to check the flow through the unit without that part installed.
-If the flow is good, the piece you’ve removed is where the issue is.
-Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow.
-If the water does not have a good flow, the problem could be in the faucet.
-Next, check the supply lines for debris:
-Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines.
-Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water.
-Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket.
-Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply.
-Since the handle was left in the on position, the water will flow up the cold supply line, through the faucet cartridge and back down the hot water line into the bucket. Leave this flowing for at least 30 seconds. After flushing, reconnect the hot water line and repeat this process with the cold-water line to ensure all particles have been removed from both supplies.
