Bad engineering
As another poster said this faucet had an engineering flaw in that the handle falls under its own weight. Poor design. I would not recommend unl SS they have re-engineered this product.

Extremely low water flow
We didn't realize until after installation that the water flow is extremely low. I read the description afterwards that these are designed that way...so shame on me. We're looking to replace them with a similar-looking, higher flow model.
They're OK for a guest bath, but not the master bathroom. The wife ain't happy at all.

Great faucet that just works!
I’m not very handy, but this faucet was easy to install and feels sturdy once it’s in place. The handle moves smoothly and it doesn’t drip, which is really all I want from a bathroom faucet. The matte black finish looks great and hasn’t shown spots or wear, even with regular cleaning. I liked that the matching drain was included so I didn’t have to buy anything extra. It uses less water without affecting pressure, and the limited lifetime warranty gives me peace of mind. Overall, it’s a good looking, dependable faucet that works exactly as it should.

Thank you for your question. We do not have a recommended distance from the center of the faucet to the drain hole in the sink. The measurement we do recommend for the faucet on the sink is the clearance to back splash which is Min. 2 1/2" (64 mm).

Can I get a different aerator for the 581-LF bathroom faucet? I don't like the one that came with the faucet. The water flow comes out as spray and ends up splattering all over, especially when water is turned on full blast.

We purchased the 581LF-BLGPM-PP in Matte Black and, as many others have noted, the water comes out and sprays like a shower and is not just one cohesive stream. Which aerator would be less like a shower spray and more like one stream?

The handle on the faucet, during most occasions will not stay up or have a continued water stream. It falls back down under its own weight. The model doesn't have set screws, can you provide me instructions on how to tighten the handle / remove it? Thx

Remove the handle and bonnet cap without using tools by pulling straight off. Securely tighten the bonnet nut using a 7/8” socket or box wrench, being careful not to damage the nut.
Handle droop may be based on one or more factors of handle weight, cartridge torque, and house water pressure.

re: MODEL#: 581LF-PP Hot water side very slow... Cold water flows fine. What cold be the problem? Checked hot water inlet and it's working fine. Seems to be inside the valve system.

The issue with your Delta 581LF-PP faucet is likely the result of debris in your supply lines or faucet. To flush the unit, we recommend the following:
Turn the supply off to both the hot and cold-water lines. Once off, turn the handle on the faucet to the on position and leave it there to bleed the lines of any excess water. Next, disconnect the hot water supply line and place it inside of a bucket. Once the line is securely positioned into the bucket, turn on the cold-water supply.
Since the handle was left in the on position, the water will flow up the cold supply line, through the faucet cartridge, and back down the hot water line into the bucket. Leave this flowing for at least 30 seconds. After flushing, reconnect the hot water line and repeat this process with the cold-water line to ensure all particles have been removed from both supplies.

A loose set screw is likely the cause of a loose handle. Remove the set screw cover behind the handle and the screw can be tightened with a 3/32" hex wrench.
