They stand behind their products
We've had this unit for seven years and the hand shower piece became hard to keep in place. Hats off to Delta, they are replacing it with a new one with no hassle. The reviewers complaining about the poor spray etc. should complain to the federal government as it is because of them the manufacturers had to reduce the gallons per minute (gpm).

I bought this model back in the same month in 2015. This was a top of the line back then. My wife loves this shower system for its many features and it does spray hard enough to rinse the soap out of her tremendously thick, beautiful hair. But this will only do it with the handheld part of the system. Here is why I’m writing my very first review. I’m very disappointed that the handheld part button has deteriorated ( I guess from my hard water in my area?) and rendered useless on the settings now. It can’t be replaced and you have to buy the entire system. But wait there is MORE! This has a limited lifetime Warranty. I called with the original invoice ( that was the awesome part,I had it on file from the remodel). They were pleasantly helpful and I am installing my new system 4 days after the phone call. Wat to do what you say and say what you do is truthful. I am very thrilled with how this all went down even with the disappointment of only lasting 7 years to the month. Thank you Delta

I am very sorry to hear that the button on your hand shower is may no longer be working properly.
With the diverter lever on the main shower head pressed all the way down to the bottom-most position and while pressing the button on the hand shower wand to go through the various settings, what type of flow does the hand shower have? Do you receive any of the spray settings?

What is the part number for the diverter for 58471 SS PK? Does it come with the arm? Thank you

Thank you for your questions. The diverter on the model 58471-SS-PK does not come with a separate diverter it is molded as part of the fixed showerhead portion of the In2ition showerhead. It does not come with the shower arm and flange. The stainless finish will match the brushed nickel faucets. The R11000 is our rough in for our 3 or 6 function diverter. This diverter is plumbed above your regular shower valve and allows you to have 2 or 3 shower features like fixed showerhead, handleheld showerhead, or body sprays and operate them independently or 2 at a time.

What's the best shower arm & flange for the Delta H2Okinetic 58471-SS? Is U4993SS Universal Showering Component Pkg legit Delta parts? Is there something more current/better than the Delta Flange RP6025SS and Arm RP6023SS? Tips to improve H2O pressure?
Thank you for your question, LowPressure. The shower arm used will not affect the water pressure. This unit is currently designed to run at 2.5 GPM at 80 PSI and will work with any standard 1/2" threaded shower arm.
The only difference between the U4993SS and RP6025SS/RP6023SS shower arm and flange is that the U4993SS extends downward about 1/2" further.

Can the magnet in the shower head have any effect on the setting in a programable shunt?
Programmable shunts are implanted in the heads of people diagnosed with hydrocephalus? Commercial strength magnets are used by neurosurgeons to change the settings of the shunt. I need to know if the magnet in this product is strong enough to alter a shunt setting. I would not have purchased the product if I had been aware that it contained a magnet.
Hi Shannon, Thank you for your question. The magnet in the fixed portion of the model 58471-PK showerhead should not affect a programable shunt through normal use. We recommend maintaining a 3" clearance from the fixed portion of the showerhead to the shunt.

This requires auto compensating valves rated at 1.5 gpm or less. Will this work with Lahara Bath Collection's R10000 UNBX Valves?
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 58471-PK is a handheld shower that replaces your existing showerhead. It will work with the R10000-UNBX valves but you will still need a trim package to turn the valve on and off.

Is this showerhead all brass construction? Are there any plastic parts?

Some people with pumped well water seem to have water pressure problems with the 1.75 gpm models. Should a 2.5 gpm model like this work better with well water?
Thank you for your question, Lori! Your recommended PSI should fall somewhere between 40 psi and 60 psi. Purchasing a model with a higher gpm may help, however you may also want to consult with a professional about increasing the pressure if you are not getting the recommended PSI for your model. Please also know that some models may not be available in a higher flow rate depending on your location due to water legislation.

Which valve and trim set do I need to buy for this? Also does it come with the arm? I am considering this for a new shower installation.
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 58471-CZ-PK is a replacment for your existing showerhead. We do not have a specific valve and trim that you can use with this model. It does not include the shower arm or flange.

Does the 58471PK swivel?
If so, it is not moving at all. How do you get it to swivel?
Hi Margaret, Thank you for your question. The model 58471-PK showerhead does move. The shower arm connection is the same ball style used in most showerheads. If the movement is tight on the new product you will want to hold the shower arm when moving the head.

Does the shower head swivel?
Does this shower head move after installed? A plumber just installed it and it sprays to the back of the shower so I would like to move it a bit so that the direction of the spray is down a bit. It doesn't seem to swivel as the one that he just replaced.
Hi LT, Thank you for your question. The model 58471-PK showerhead does pivot. The showerhead will move approximately 15 degrees in each direction. The motion is tight when new.

Does Pause button cycle thru settings?
When you push the button, does it CYCLE through the 3 spray patterns plus pause (trickle) function & so when you want to pause the flow you need to push it several times and/or push it several times to get back to to your favorite setting? And the 2.5 g/min rating, is that for all the various settings or does the Kinetic-only setting have less than 2.5?

Shower hose leaking. I have only had it since August 2021. It’s just me therefore, it has not been used a lot. It just sits up there and rarely ever taken down from the cradle. This should not be leaking with such little use. I am very very disappointed.

Problem with T17294-I installed with Delta multichoice valve R10000-UNBX: 1. water pressure seems low to point that not all holes in shower head (especially fixed head) have water - volume usable but not enjoyable; 2. both heads drip after shutoff

The Delta H2Okinetic In2ition model 58471-PK can be soaked in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water and this will help remove any debris that could have gotten into the shower head; this can happen with new installations.
As for the dripping while off for the Delta model T17294-I you need to replace the cartridge adapter which is part number RP46073.

Shower head pivot is very loose. Have to hold on to it to remove the handshower and then hold on to it to seat it back again. This is my second purchase of this showerhead. The first one was not this loose. Is there any way to tighten the pivot?
