They stand behind their products
We've had this unit for seven years and the hand shower piece became hard to keep in place. Hats off to Delta, they are replacing it with a new one with no hassle. The reviewers complaining about the poor spray etc. should complain to the federal government as it is because of them the manufacturers had to reduce the gallons per minute (gpm).

I bought this model back in the same month in 2015. This was a top of the line back then. My wife loves this shower system for its many features and it does spray hard enough to rinse the soap out of her tremendously thick, beautiful hair. But this will only do it with the handheld part of the system. Here is why I’m writing my very first review. I’m very disappointed that the handheld part button has deteriorated ( I guess from my hard water in my area?) and rendered useless on the settings now. It can’t be replaced and you have to buy the entire system. But wait there is MORE! This has a limited lifetime Warranty. I called with the original invoice ( that was the awesome part,I had it on file from the remodel). They were pleasantly helpful and I am installing my new system 4 days after the phone call. Wat to do what you say and say what you do is truthful. I am very thrilled with how this all went down even with the disappointment of only lasting 7 years to the month. Thank you Delta

The best way to easily remove the hand shower wand is to grasp the wand firmly and with your thumb pressed against the shower head for leverage, pull the wand straight out.

What is the part number for the diverter for 58471 SS PK? Does it come with the arm? Thank you

Thank you for your questions. The diverter on the model 58471-SS-PK does not come with a separate diverter it is molded as part of the fixed showerhead portion of the In2ition showerhead. It does not come with the shower arm and flange. The stainless finish will match the brushed nickel faucets. The R11000 is our rough in for our 3 or 6 function diverter. This diverter is plumbed above your regular shower valve and allows you to have 2 or 3 shower features like fixed showerhead, handleheld showerhead, or body sprays and operate them independently or 2 at a time.

Some people with pumped well water seem to have water pressure problems with the 1.75 gpm models. Should a 2.5 gpm model like this work better with well water?
Thank you for your question, Lori! Your recommended PSI should fall somewhere between 40 psi and 60 psi. Purchasing a model with a higher gpm may help, however you may also want to consult with a professional about increasing the pressure if you are not getting the recommended PSI for your model. Please also know that some models may not be available in a higher flow rate depending on your location due to water legislation.

Does Pause button cycle thru settings?
When you push the button, does it CYCLE through the 3 spray patterns plus pause (trickle) function & so when you want to pause the flow you need to push it several times and/or push it several times to get back to to your favorite setting? And the 2.5 g/min rating, is that for all the various settings or does the Kinetic-only setting have less than 2.5?

Thank you for your question. The U495D-60-PK is a metal hose that can stretch from 60" to 82" and the U495D-69-PK is a metal hose that can stretch from 69" to 92".

Does this have a flow restricter that can be removed to increase water pressure? If so, how do I remove it?
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 58471-PN-PK has a flow output of 2.5 gpm at 80 psi. This is the largest flow allowable by legislation. We do not recommend that you take out the flow restrictor and it does void the warranty if its removed.

Is there a metal version of In2ition model#58471? If not, do you have any metal hand held showers with H2Okinetic technology?
Hi Bucky, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately we do not offer an all metal version of the In2ition showerhead, or an all metal hand shower featuring H2Okinetic technology. Most of our shower products are made with engineered plastics that are designed to meet and exceed industry standards. All products are guaranteed with a lifetime warranty. Some shower products include brass (metal) components for added strength and weight.

Water not coming out of center.
I purchased 2 of these. When I turn on the shower, water only comes out of the outer circle, and pushing the button on the handle does nothing (I'm not sure what the button does). The same thing happens with both. What's going on?
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 58471-PK has a small handle on the back of the stationary showerhead to switch the spray from just the stationary showerhead to the handheld showerhead or to having both of them on.
The button in the front is the pause button for the handheld showerhead. If you turn the dial behind the button, you can change the stream of the handheld showerhead to its different settings.

Can I use this hand held with the delta r4707-px roman tub rough in instead of the hand held provided with that rough in?

What does the PK stand for in the 58471-CZ-PK and how does this model differ from the 58472-CZ model
Hi Sks, Thank you for your question. The PK stands for the clam shell packaging that the showerhead ships in. The main difference between the model 58471-CZ-PK and 58472-CZ is the styling of the showerhead. The 58471 offers a tapered design and the 58472 is a flush design. The performance, and features of the showerheads are the same.

Also, to operate the shower head alone, you will need to flip the diverter lever located on the main shower head to the topmost position, to operate the shower head and hand shower simultaneously, you will need to flip the diverter to the center position and to operate the hand shower alone, you will need to flip the diverter to the bottom most position.
On the hand shower wand, you will be able to divert through the various spray settings by flipping the mode selector from left to right and to pause the flow of water to a trickle, you will need to press the button on the center of the mode selector on the hand shower wand.

I just purchased the In2ition shower head in the polished nickel finish. I thought it would come with an on/off lever but did not. What would you suggest to match the shower head with?

Is this made out of metal or plastic?

Our shower heads and hand showers typically use a proprietary mixture of both metal and plastic components to ensure a long lasting, high quality product, while maintaining safety control for the various temperatures of water that go through the product. With any shower head or hand shower, the part of the faucet that you would grab onto is typically made of a high-grade plastic or a plastic-mixture, as metal is heavier, susceptible to corrosion and retains heat.

We bought the H2Okinetic® In2ition® 4-Setting Two-in-One Shower in Champagn Bronze and took a few months to get installed. In the mean-time the ring that covers the wall from the shower head got lost. Can you tell me my options to get that replaced?

I am very sorry to hear that the button on your hand shower is may no longer be working properly.
With the diverter lever on the main shower head pressed all the way down to the bottom-most position and while pressing the button on the hand shower wand to go through the various settings, what type of flow does the hand shower have? Do you receive any of the spray settings?
