They stand behind their products
We've had this unit for seven years and the hand shower piece became hard to keep in place. Hats off to Delta, they are replacing it with a new one with no hassle. The reviewers complaining about the poor spray etc. should complain to the federal government as it is because of them the manufacturers had to reduce the gallons per minute (gpm).

I bought this model back in the same month in 2015. This was a top of the line back then. My wife loves this shower system for its many features and it does spray hard enough to rinse the soap out of her tremendously thick, beautiful hair. But this will only do it with the handheld part of the system. Here is why I’m writing my very first review. I’m very disappointed that the handheld part button has deteriorated ( I guess from my hard water in my area?) and rendered useless on the settings now. It can’t be replaced and you have to buy the entire system. But wait there is MORE! This has a limited lifetime Warranty. I called with the original invoice ( that was the awesome part,I had it on file from the remodel). They were pleasantly helpful and I am installing my new system 4 days after the phone call. Wat to do what you say and say what you do is truthful. I am very thrilled with how this all went down even with the disappointment of only lasting 7 years to the month. Thank you Delta

What is the Trim Set for Model 58471-SS-PK
What is the trim set needed for model 58471-SS-PK and what does the trim set include: Matching handle and handle trim/flange? Matching arm and flange? rough in valve?
Note that Valve R10000-UNBX in one of answers. What is flow rate of this valve? Do you recommend -UNBX or UNWSBT or ?? for the trim set (T13, T14, T17?)?

Thank you for your questions. This shower head can be used with any shower trim and valve, however it is designed to coordinate with a Traditional style. Each trim includes the items shown in the associated picture, along with a cartridge. You can use any R10000 valve with these trim kits. The rough-in valve will be sold separately.

The flow rate will be determined by the pressure in your home, along with the trim series that you use. At 60 PSI the 13/14 series can flow up to about 6.3 gpm from the shower port. The 17 series can flow at 5.6 gpm, and the 17T series at 7.0 gpm. Please note that these are the available flow rates. The flow rate that you experience is determined by the shower head or other components that you use.

Mounting question for Delta Faucet 58471-SS-PK handheld shower head
Can the Delta Faucet 58471-SS-PK handheld shower head be mounted to a Delta Addison 15 in. Shower Arm # RP61273SS?

Thank you for your question. This shower head is designed to work with standard 45 degree shower heads. Unfortunately, it will not work on the 90 degree RP61273SS.

I'm buying the 58471-SS shower head. Which valve?
I know the R1000UNBX will work. What is the difference between it and the R1000UNBXHF. I know the latter is "high flow." Is it the better one to use with a shower only installation?

Thank you for your question. The difference with the
R10000-UNBX and R10000-UNBXHF is that the R10000-UNBXHF does not have a port for a tub spout installation. Therefore this valve body is a 'Shower Only' valve body. You can use the R10000-UNBX in a shower only application, you will just have to plug the bottom port.

What other components need to be purchased for the 58471-PN-PK to be functional?
I'm purchasing the fixtures for a new bath installation. I thought it would be more convenient to purchase on line. However, this site does not provide a list of materials needed for a complete installation.
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 58471-PN-PK is a replacement for your existing showerhead. Since this is a new bath installation, you will need a valve and trim assembly to operate your showerhead.
