Great and convenient

Easy to install and operate!
Super easy to install, plumber tape around the threads definitely recommended. Screwed right on to existing pipe. The shower head has good water pressure on all settings. The handheld is easy to detach and reattach and also has great water pressure. Using the handheld makes it easier to use in conjunction with a shower seat. And as a bonus it looks very sleek!

After 8 months...
Things I wish were different:
-Better finish. Paint is rubbing off where the hand held part inserts into the larger head.
-Ability to adjust angle of large head.
-More convenient way to switch spray combo
-better spray (either too hard or too weak)

Q&A
I have a 58472. The handheld sprayer will no longer change from one spray to the next. What can I do to get it repaired or replaced. I am not the original purchaser. it came with the house I bought. I do not have the receipt.
I had the same problem but I soaked the handheld in a bucket of 50/50 vinegar and water for 15 minutes or so and it works now.

The faucet body, spout, and handle are metal. Unfortunately, we do not have a complete breakdown of the materials used. In general, metal parts are usually brass (hub, handle, body, tube, fittings), zinc (escutcheon, hub, handle), or stainless steel (set screw, undercover plate).

the installation sheet mentions "turn knob (5) to ..." but there is no #5 .
the installation sheet mentions "turn knob (5) to change between showerhead only, showerhead and hand shower or hand shower only. There is no #5 on the illustration. Also this model was advertised as having a "pause" capability. How is that operated?

Thank you for your question! I'm sorry for any confusion. The button labeled #3 is the mode selector. Press this button until it clicks to cycle through the spray and pause settings. The lever labeled #4 is the diverter that will switch between the showerhead, hand shower, or both.

Can you buy a longer hose? If so, what lengths are available?
If so, what is the part number of the longer hose? If so, what lengths are available? My shower head is approximately 7 feet above the shower floor. I'd like a hose long enough to reach the floor, with a little extra to spare. Thanks.
Hi Bob, Thank you for your question. The model 58472-RB showerhead comes with a 60" to 82" stretchable metal hose. This is the longest hose that we have available in the venetian bronze finish. Our longest hose 84" long is available in white/chrome U494R-84-PK and black/chrome as U490R-84-PK.

The lever keeps falling out that controls hand-held water flow. The location of this lever is high enough a 5' person can't manipulate it.

This helps prevent heat transfer that could result in scalding and reduce weight. Non-metallic parts are also beneficial in that they do not rust or corrode. We just purchased an In2ition shower head…There is no flow going to the hand held part…I have tried to lock and unlock the button, but nothing
is coming out of the hand held portion. Please shed some light for me.
Hi Russell, Thank you for your question. The button on the hand shower portion controls the different spray settings on the hand shower. There is a lever located on the back right of the fixed shower head portion that allows you to switch between hand shower only, fixed shower head only, and both at the same time.

What is the difference between maximum flow rate and actual flow rate?
What does it mean when the specification says:
Maximum water consumption - 2.5 GPM
Actual water consumption - 1.5 GPM

Delta Faucet model # 58472 has the two different flow rates because it depends on whether or not you have both the stationary showerhead and the handshower running or just one of them. If they are both running, then the flow is 2.5 gpm. If only one of them is running, then the flow rate is 1.5 gpm.

Type of Valve Assembly is Needed
What type of valve is needed to operate the shower. When I buy the valve, does it come with all the accessory parts such as Escutcheon, handles, O-Ring, etc?
Hi Thom, Thank you for your question. The rough in valve used on our faucets is the R10000 multichoice universal rough. To make a complete faucet you would also have to order one of our T13, T14, or T17 series trims. The trims include all of the external pieces as well has the cartridge for the rough in valve.
