The shower head has good water pressure on all settings. The handheld is easy to detach and reattach and also has great water pressure. Using the handheld makes it easier to use in conjunction with a shower seat. And as a bonus it looks very sleek!

I have a 58472-PR shower head and the push button on the pull off shower head isn't functioning anymore. I've soaked it in vinegar but that didn't help. I don't see anything in the manual about how to fix it. What should I do?

The Delta 58472 shower unit was installed about a year ago and has had very limited use. The button on the hand held that changes the shower setting no longer changes the setting and only presses in with no change in shower setting. Explanation?

Hello - happy new year. We have two 58472 shower heads in two baths. The buttons on both heads no longer work. I have soaked them in vinegar but still nothing. Could air in the heads be keeping the vinegar from penetrating? How long should they soak?

Is it safe to use white vinegar to clean hard water spots off the shower head?

We realize that can be very frustrating and I am happy to assist you! We thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We recommend always blotting dry any water from the faucet surface. Allowing water to evaporate on the surface can lead to a build-up of mineral deposits. Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward. If additional cleaning is required, all of our finishes may be cleaned with the following household cleaners: Formula 409&reg; Antibacterial All-Purpose Cleaner, Fantastik&reg; All-Purpose Cleaner, or Windex&reg; Original Glass Cleaner when used according to the manufacturers' instructions for use. Avoid using the following which can damage your finish: Avoid industrial cleaners and abrasive cleaners, such as those used for toilet bowls, green Scotch-Brite heavy duty scrub sponges, Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner, and Lysol Basin Tub, Soft Scrub, and Tile Cleaner.
