Power and Beauty, in your hands
We've been thru three shower heads for our Miami Master Bath condo... all were disappointing. We seem to have some issue with pressure in this shower only, but found the answer. Something about the technology described in the Delta In2ition actually works! The design is lovely.. as an architect I truly appreciate the clean lines, the integration of the hand shower into the square head shape. Is it a little plastic-y? Yes, but as long as it keeps working the way it does, we are happy as a pig in... oops.

Disappointed it was plastic. Hose was about two inches to short to was a 40lb dog.
Pressure is fine but still comes out all the holes when you select inside or outside stream.

Dual Purpose shower head that performs well
The shower head works for what was needed for the shower. The shower head provides multiple settings for your shower. The feature that allows you to remove the hand held for the cleaning the shower works well.The shower head provides a good value for the price.

I will have to use it more to know for sure how I feel about it
I love the look and design I have some issues about using this particular model. With all the features it's supposed to have there should be more information provided
For instance the"diverter" has 3 positions no one even in customer service knows which position is which I've called twice is the top setting for both the stationary and hand held is it the middle position is it at the bottom which is only the hand held which is only the stationary
There is a "button" that controls water flow I believe it would be nice to have some information on this feature as well
Of course I can play around with it all and eventually figure it out but... I don't think I should have to

HOSE LEAKING!
I am in the process of contacting Delta because the hose already broke and we have used it for only 1 1/2 years. I would not suggest this faucet based on design or durability. I am disappointed in the product.

Not worth for the money
Have a high expectation on this shower head. But get disappointed by it's performance. Low water pressure when all jets are used. Difficult to remove and replace the handheld shower head. Product was returned to seller after three days use.

Very Disappointed
We had to make a hasty choice as we had to replace our older Delta shower faucet that ceased up and broke when trying to fix the cartridge. Plumber was working on the pipes so we scurried to Lowes. We selected this unit as it was one of the very few that was not round, it had the handheld built in. We liked the square design and measured to ensure the faceplate on the tap would fit. We handed the box to the plumber to install so we could get our shower working. We deliberately bought a more expensive model and paid over $300 Can. Believing we were getting better quality. We are very very disappointed with the plastic unit . Both the shower and handheld are plastic as is the massive faucet. The only thing that looks decent is the tap handle and it's faceplate. As a result we have had to purchase a different shower head and faucet through a distributor who ordered from other companies on our behalf. The new square shower head we've purchased is a beautiful finish, heavy chrome and also required a new arm as the Delta one won't work. I don't recommend buying this unit.

More parts needed!
If you are a novice like me, or haven't installed any showerheads, be aware that you will need to order a Valve Trim Package with Rough-in Valve. My only 'complaint' is that this didn't show up or wasn't flagged when I ordered the showerhead. We called customer service, since our bath remodel was set to begin, and our contractor brought it to our attention. We were told by customer service to order the Delta T17051 Trim Package and the Delta
R10000-UNWS Rough-in Valve. Just F.Y.I. Hopefully this can save someone else some time.

Fabulous!!
I am very happy with the purchase of this Delta 58470 shower head and hand shower. It was easy to install, and fits my smaller shower perfectly as I have an older home (built in the 1940s) . Recently, had the bathroom updated--unfortunately, my contractor went really cheap on the shower fixture which started leaking after the first week, temporary fix only lasted a few months. So far, this one has exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend...

Beautiful and functional!
This head had some features that my wife wanted that the head i originally installed didn't have, most importantly the integrated want. It works great and it looks great. The H2Okinetic design somehow makes the drops feel bigger, or maybe they are bigger, either way, it's cool. I really recommend this shower head.

Feels great, nice heavy water droplets, magnetic docking works as advertised or as it should. Most shower heads that I have considered at or around this price point are/were made of Plastic so I did not expect it to be made of metal. If you can accept that then you should be pleased with its performance. Only Time will tell about its durability. So far so good. Oh yeah, and the wife loves it too.

Is this showerhead supposed to pivot? It looks like a ball joint where it connects to the shower arm comes out of the wall, but it does not move/pivot

How do you remove the water sense out of the shower head our house? This teacher makes no the water pans out like a slow garden hose the water pressure in our house is low.

A water-sense labeled product will have a lower flow rate and tampering with the flow restricor could cause this shower head to no longer comply with local plumbing restrictions. Is it possible to replace simply the wand of this unit? Ours recently has become clogged, and I don't want to have to replace the entire unit.
Thank you for your question, Greg. Unfortunately, the hand shower is not available separately. However, there are a few things you can do to help remove blockages from the hose. Please try removing the hand shower and soaking it in a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution for about an hour. This will help dissolve mineral buildup. Next, check the end of the hand shower and tap it on the counter to help dislodge any debris.

What is the difference between model 58473 and 58473-25?

The Delta 58473 hand shower has a max. flow rate 1.75 gpm at 80 psi.
The Delta 58473-25 hand shower has a max. flow rate 2.5 gpm at 80 psi.

The button on the handheld is stuck and it appears to be pushed in. As such, we can't change the setting on the handheld. Is there a way to get the button out?

Will this work with Model: RP46870 shower arm?

Thank you for your inquiry! Our Delta In2ition Shower Heads, like the 58473-CZ model, are manufactured to be used with a standard shower arms with a 45 degree angle. The In2ition shower head may not work properly installed on the RP46870 shower arm.

Is this really a "touch clean" model? It doesn't look like it.
Thank you for your question, Kim. The H2Okinetic spray holes are self-cleaning. However, the hand shower has a round pattern of Touch Clean spray holes as well.
