The Delta® In2ition® Two-in-One Shower features a detachable hand shower which can be used separately from or simultaneously with the shower head. Disappointed...
Just had this model installed. I was very disappointed. Let me begin by saying the actual showering function works well. Delta prides itself on some of their newer patented technologies: H2Okinetic, In2ition, and MagnaTite. The first two are ok. But, the major disappointment is in the MagnaTite. The magnet is extremely weak. Other brands have a much stronger magnet. If you try to adjust the main shower head, while the handheld is attached, the handheld will fall out. The shower head can not always successfully be lowered or turned while the handheld is attached. And, don't even try to point the shower face down, the handheld will fall out. I would not recommend this model, unless you never intend to move or adjust the showerhead while the handheld is attached, or if you don't need the 2 in 1 to be facing down.

Great showerhead overall
This is a really nice shower head, looks great and is a true matte black. Only complaint I have is that when you detach the middle attachment hose, the water still comes out of the top part. I would have preferred that it only come out of the attachment when not hooked to the top. But overall that is my only issue! Otherwise I do think it is a great showerhead.

I highly recommend it!
We couldn’t be happier with this shower head. I wanted one with a removable piece and this works perfectly! The magnet is strong and keeps it well in place. I can remove it and easily reach every part of our large, newly renovated shower.

Magnetic feature doesn't work well
Was so excited about this showerhead- the aesthetics and the 2.5 GPM water pressure. However, the magnet that holds the handheld part to the rest of the shower head does not function well and the handheld part repeatedly falls out.

Unimpressed, had high hopes..
Sorry for the poor review. I had high hopes for this very nice looking combo spray wand and shower head. Unfortunately, when it arrived and I unpackaged it, I was very disappointed that it was completely plastic and felt very cheaply made. I attached it to replace my current spray head and found out that the settings button was also very cheaply made and could predict it failing within a few uses. It also didn’t have a stop pray setting, just a slow flow setting. So unimpressed, I sent it back for a refund. Overall, cheap, very expensive for plastic, and functions poorly designed.

Awesome showerhead, best for larger showers
I put this in a standard tub/shower combo and it works well. It is on the large side and you have to angle it upward toward horizontal so the handheld portion fits into place. This causes some of the settings to jet water out a little too far for the size of the space. But overall, it’s a great shower head. Great pressure and coverage, and with all of the options, there are several that work comfortably in the space. Install was also very straightforward and fast.

This is a great shower head!
This is a great shower head. It's HUGE, there are several water flow settings and the inner nozzle/handle slips in and out easily and holds securely with magnets. It's SO much better than having two separate shower heads and valve set ups like most do. My only negative comments are that I wish the water flow was more powerful and the angle of the head/arm doesn't move. The arm is fixed and is at about a 45 degree angle, so the water shoots pretty straight out and far back. If you have a shallow/small shower, water is going to hit the back wall. Just be aware of this when you order. If you have the space, I highly recommend this unit as not only is it highly functional, it's very sharp looking!

Worth the Tradeoffs
My opinion is that no “combo” product is quite as good as the two original stand alone products, and this is no exception.
Pros—nice style, good quality switch mechanisms and hose. Easy to clean nozzles. Strong magnet holds the handheld shower in place. Pause feature stops most of the flow. And it sure is handy to have an easy to remove handheld unit for cleaning the shower, etc.
Cons—even though it’s the same 2.5 GPM as the shower head it replaced, it feels like less water. I think it’s because of the spray patterns, where every setting has areas that are “dry” with gaps between the nozzles that are spraying. My personal preference would be for less spray pattern choices, and just give full coverage with a pause button. I’m not sure how many people really switch between them all anyhow, especially when docked.
Good overall unit, but I feel that the designers missed an opportunity to make this higher end product even better with true soaking spray.

Great Style

Our remodel project is not complete yet so I can’t say for sure how they function. But all other Delta products I’ve used have worked great and I fully expect these to as well.

I love my new hand held shower head with multi-function
It is extremely easy to use and the magnet works great. Love the choices of streams available. I find that my setting for the hot and cold has changed. Before I turned the hot all the way and the cold just a little. Now I can use both temperatures evenly - not one more than the other for a nice even temperature. The stream when connected is delightful - like rain water coming down - the hand held with the options for different sprays is awesome. I and my daughter are extremely happy - I bought one for my shower and one for hers. Two happy campers.

Does this shower head contain latex (also called natural rubber, dry rubber, rubber, caucho, natural rubber latex) or is the "rubber" in the Touch Clean nozzles synthetic rubber or silicone? I've a severe latex allergy.

Delta does not specify Latex material in its showering products. However, because thermoplastic rubber (which is a physical mix of polymers) is used in some of the products, we can’t guarantee that there is no Latex contained in those products. Use of thermoplastic rubber in these kinds of applications is common.
We understand that some individuals have a severe allergic reaction to Latex. Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee that there is no Latex present in the material. However, we do not specify the use of Latex material.

how is the hose stretchable....from 60 to 82 inches? Also, what parts are stainless steel and what parts are plastic? thank you!

Our shower heads and hand showers use a propriety combination of both metal and plastic components to ensure a long lasting, high quality product, while maintaining safety control for the various temperatures of water that go through the product. With any shower head or hand shower, the part of the faucet that you would grab onto is typically made of a plastic or a plastic-mixture, as metal is heavier, susceptible to corrosion and retains heat. The Stainless Steel interlocking metal coil spirals around the stretchable hose inside allowing for the extra space when fully stretched.

I'm looking for this new model to hit the retail market soon. Where I can go, compare, and buy a best match finish to my current brushed nickel bath finishes. Is this shower head still in limited release? I can't find a single customer review on it.

Please suggest the a tub faucet that would match this shower head. Also need a suggestion on the accessor that will match that changes the water flow to the shower head from the water running into tub. Thanks
