PRODUCT FEATURES
Replacing your shower head is one of the quickest, simplest upgrades you can make to your shower. Our shower heads feature a wide range of styles and innovations, and install in less than 20 minutes - no special tools required. The Delta® In2ition® Two-in-One Shower features a detachable hand shower which can be used separately from or simultaneously with the shower head. This integrated dual-functionality gives you maximum flexibility without sacrificing warmth, as you can choose to have water streaming from the shower head only, the hand shower only or both the shower head and hand shower at once. Delta® H2Okinetic® Showers look different because they are different. Using advanced technology, H2Okinetic showers sculpt water into a unique wave pattern, giving you 3X the coverage of a standard shower head.* The end result is a shower that provides more coverage, more warmth and more intensity for a truly drenching shower experience. So go ahead and indulge, because now you can enjoy the feeling of more water without using more water. The pause setting gives you ample space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks, then easily restarts the water with the temperature where you left off. This spray setting helps you conserve water, so you can worry less about depleting your supply of hot water - and you help the environment too. Delta WaterSense labeled faucets, showers and toilets use at least 20% less water than the industry standard—saving you money without compromising performance. *Coverage measured in accordance with EPA WaterSense® Specification for shower heads, March 4, 2010.

The product information says, "Shower arm and flange NOT included." What is the shower arm and the flange? I'm replacing a traditional/standard style Delta shower with the model indicated. Is the shower arm and flange part of my current Delta shower? What other parts do I need to order to properly instal the shower?
Asked by: Len
Hi Len, Thank you for your question. Here is a link to our basic shower arm and flange. http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/details/u4993-pk.html Your existing Delta shower should have these parts unless you have a slide bar hand shower or rain can from the ceiling set up. Other than thread seal tape you should not need any other parts for the installation. Thanks, Dave

Hi, Judith! Thank you for your question. The Delta 58480-SS-PK In2ition 2-in-1 Hand Shower can be removed to clean by unscrewing the hand shower from the hose assembly counterclockwise. Asked by: gator girl
Hi, Gator Girl! We appreciate your interest in our Delta shower units. All Delta units feature the same quality parts, materials, and workmanship, no matter what kind of dealer sells them. Delta retail dealers usually sell faucets that include the handles in the boxes. Plumbing professionals and Delta Studio Showrooms sell faucets where the faucets and handles are packaged and sold separately ("LHP" models), giving the customer some additional styling choices. However, the quality of all Delta faucets is the same. Best Regards, Rosanna

Does the 58480-PN-PK shower head require a flange?

Because of the diverter switch between shower head and shower arm, it doesn't look like a flange would be needed or would fit. If it is required, please recommend a flange model # in polished nickel that can be used.
Asked by: Andrew
Hi Andrew, Thank you for your question. This shower head will connect directly to the shower arm. The shower arm flange is used to cover the hole for the shower arm and should still be used. You can use a RP72562PN, RP52144PN, or RP34356PN flange. http://www.deltafaucet.com/search/results.html?q=RP72562PN%2C+RP52144PN%2C+RP34356PN Best regards, Jon

Is this too big for a shower only?

My main bathroom just has a shower stall - standard size with a shower curtain. Is the head on this thing so big that the water would be likely to spray beyond the curtain? If so, can you recommend a model that would be appropriate for shower stalls? Thank you.
Asked by: Kim
Hi Kim, Thank you for your question! This shower head could be used in standard shower stall. The shower head is 6 7/8" in diameter and can be angled up or down somewhat. The water will spray out in a slightly conical shape. Thanks, Jon
