Bad results from expensive product.
I paid a lot of money for this shower head, only been six months installed and I have a drip. Plumber tried to fix & still has drip. Now I’m told I need a new cartridge @ 125.00. Plus can’t find a customer service number to have a conversation about this. Not a happy customer.

We installed Delta Model 58480-PK series shower head in our master bath & wondering if there is a way to increase the water pressure on this model? The pressure coming out of the shower head seems to be minimal,pressure in guest bathroom & sinks is good.

I am sorry to hear that your H2Okinetic® In2ition® 5-Setting Two-In-One Shower In Lumicoat Chrome MODEL#: 58480-PR-PK is having a lower than normal pressure, which can be very frustrating. I am so glad that you contacted us, so we can get this taken care of for you!
Low flow is normally caused by a blockage or debris, we would recommend a whole system flush, and soaking the showerhead in 50/50 white vinegar and water for 15-30 minutes. Please see the shower flushing steps below.
To flush the open valve without the cartridge, please follow the directions below.
1) Remove the handle by loosening the set screw on the side of the base of the handle. The set screw is either a 1/8" or 3/32" Allen screw. So you will need to use the appropriate size Allen wrench to loosen it. Loosen it just enough to be able to easily pull the handle off. * Note. If there is calcium build-up at the base of the handle, it may be necessary to soak it in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water. Simply saturate the rag with the 50/50 solution, wrap it around the handle base and place a plastic bag over it. I would recommend do this the night before removing the handle.
2) After removing the handle, remove the trim sleeve.
3) Then you will need to remove the bonnet nut. The bonnet nut is the threaded ring at the valve opening. It unscrews counterclockwise. You will need a pipe wrench or a pair of channel locks.
4) After removing the bonnet nut, you will need to pull the cartridge straight out. You may need a small, skinny bladed screwdriver to wedge in between the lip of the cartridge and the valve to help start it out.
5) Once the cartridge is removed, you will have an open valve body.
6) Next, shut the shower door or curtain and turn the water on to the valve. Water should gush out, much like an open fire hydrant. Have someone observe if there is good water pressure coming out of the valve and let it flush for 30 seconds.
7) Re-install the cartridge and re-assemble in reverse of how it was disassembled. The Tub/Shower should then have a good flow. If it does not, the cartridge will need to be replaced.

What material is this shower head made of? I've seen one say plastic and another say metal.

We have this shower head for only three years and the middle part no longer sprays. The button does not work. Can just the middle spray be replaced?

The hand shower part is not available as an individual part. To first troubleshoot the issue, I recommend soaking the hand shower in 50/50 white vinegar and water then rinsing. This can dissolve mineral deposits that may affect the button.

What is it made of, is it metal, plastic, etc. Do you have a tear drop handle for the shower that matches this, we are just getting a new shower installed. Is this the right part for the 2 in 1 58480

The Delta 58480-PK In2ition 2-in-1 Shower Unit have both metallic and non-metallic parts. The hose assembly is metallic. The hand shower and shower head are non-metallic. All of our current shower units are non-metallic. This helps prevent heat transfer that could result in scalding and reduce weight. Non-metallic parts are also beneficial in that they do not rust or corrode.

I have a delta 1700 series rough in valve installed into a new shower. It's time to trim it out question if I order the #58480-rb-pk will I get the trim for the valve or is that not part of the package. Part # for trim if needed
Thank you for your question, George! Delta model 58480-RB-PK does not come included with a shower trim, nor does a specific one need to be used with the shower head. However, if you are planning on using the existing rough in valve, you would need to use a Delta valve trim in the 1700 series.

I made the mistake of removing the flow restrictor from my shower head to attempt to increase the pressure. Now the pressure is better, but it's almost too much flow and I feel like I'm wasting water. Is there are replacement flow restrictor available?

This showerhead can be used with any standard shower arm and can be used with a faucet installed in the R10000 rough-in. The R10000-PX MultiChoice® Universal Tub / Shower Rough - PEX Crimp can be used with a MultiChoice trim kit.
Models with the stainless finish will have "SS" in the model number, or "SP" for the stainless finish with SpotShield technology.

Turn the knob to change between showerhead only, shower head, and hand shower or hand shower only. Soaking the part in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water could help remove any particles or debris blocking the flow.
