Bad results from expensive product.
I paid a lot of money for this shower head, only been six months installed and I have a drip. Plumber tried to fix & still has drip. Now I’m told I need a new cartridge @ 125.00. Plus can’t find a customer service number to have a conversation about this. Not a happy customer.

Swivel doesn’t swivel
Swivel would simply not swivel, no matter how hard we try. Called Delta for advice and they said just return it. Unacceptable. Never going to buy another Delta product.

Does the 58480-PN-PK shower head require a flange?
Because of the diverter switch between shower head and shower arm, it doesn't look like a flange would be needed or would fit. If it is required, please recommend a flange model # in polished nickel that can be used.

Thank you for your question. This shower head will connect directly to the shower arm. The shower arm flange is used to cover the hole for the shower arm and should still be used. You can use a RP72562PN, RP52144PN, or RP34356PN flange.

Can you buy hardware to mount the handheld separately?
Love the integration of the handheld into the showerhead, but would also like an option to mount the handheld by itself little lower on the wall -- for those times when I'm not washing my hair. Do you have compatible hardware for doing that?

Thank you for your question, GDNY! Model 58480-SS-PK has a diverter level located on the side of the shower head. This lever allows you to divert between the shower head, hand shower or both simultaneously.

How do you remove the flow reducer on 58480-RB-PK shower head?
Thank you for your question, Terry! The flow restrictor is not meant to be removed as doing so will allow debris into the shower head, that can damage the shower head beyond repair.

I installed the 58480PK and it leaks droplets at the shower arm shower head connection. Any suggestions? I’ve removed and reinstalled the shower head three times.

Water doesn't come out of the handheld part only the mounted part. What are we doing wrong?

The Delta In2ition 5-Setting Shower Head 58480-PK has a knob on the right side of the mounted/fixed shower head, that diverts the water to the shower head only, hand shower only or both units at the same time. We would advise turning the knob, while water is running to set the function for both shower head and hand shower option. Please refer to page 2 diagram C for these directions, in the below link.

I bought and installed a Delta IN2ITION shower head. When I try changing the shower spray type there are only 4 positions on the type lever that have a solid click feel. Where is the 5 position.

Thank you for your question. The fifth setting/feature of the Delta H2Okinetic In2ition Shower Head 58480-PK is the "Pause" button on the front of the handheld. The Pause feature reduces water to a trickle, giving you space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks while maintaining your temperature settings.

What is this unit made of?
I know the one's sold in the big box retail markets have a lot of plastic and there are several negative comments about the water pressure and the plastic on the hand held unit.

Thank you for your question on the Delta In2ition® H2Okinetic® 5-Setting Two-in-One Shower.
The shower arm connection is metallic, the shower head and wand are non-metallic and the 60" - 82" hose is a stretchable metal.
The make-up of materials in our hand showers are primarily a non-metallic material for the safety of our customers. Metallic hand held wands can hold heat easily and will hurt if dropped on your body. The weight can also be too much for some when holding the wand for an extended period of time.
This model has a flow rate of 2.0 GPM, which may feel like a decreased amount of water if you are used to a shower head or hand held shower with a higher rate, such as 2.5 GPM, though this model has been designed with H20 Kinetic technology, so it will feel like you are actually getting more than 2.0 GPM.

Where is the main valve. My new shower has a place for the hot/cold off/on 18" below the showerhead.

I can't tell what the settings are on the toggle button. I can't find it in the manual. When is the shower on the kinetic setting? what do the toggle setting designations mean at each setting???
Thank you for your question, Beth! Model 58480-PK will start with the H2O Kinetic spray then moving the setting lever to the right you will get the Full Spray, Massage Spray, then the Full Spray w/ Massage. Pushing the button in will activate the "Pause" feature.

Is there a removable water saver? Poor water pressure with well water

Thank you for your question! The Delta In2ition 5-Setting 58480-PK faucet is designed with a 2.00 gpm at 80 psi flow rate. It does not have a removable restrictor and removing any internal parts of the unit will void the warranty.

I am looking at shower heads and like the D58480 in chrome that features the H2Okinetic Technology, Magna Tite Docking, and In2ition. However, I see that Lowe’s has a 75589C Delta model that appears to be identical to the D58480. Is there a difference?

Thank you for your question. Both shower units are very similar. The difference is that the 75589C has a 72" hose and 58480-PK has a 60" hose. They both have the same 5 settings and both have a flow rate of 1.75 gpm at 80psi.

Thank you for your question. The Delta 58480-CZ-PK, 58471-CZ-PK, and the 58472-CZ In2ition 2-in-1 shower units are all different in styles. The 58480-CZ-PK has a flow rate of 1.75 gpm @ 80 psi while the other two units have a flow rate of 2.50 gpm @ 80 psi.
