Delta will not honor their warranty.
This product worked great, but when the paint peeled off the hose, Delta would not replace it under warranty. The warranty clearly covers the finish for life. Beware when you purchase a Delta product.

Bad results from expensive product.
I paid a lot of money for this shower head, only been six months installed and I have a drip. Plumber tried to fix & still has drip. Now I’m told I need a new cartridge @ 125.00. Plus can’t find a customer service number to have a conversation about this. Not a happy customer.

Swivel doesn’t swivel
Swivel would simply not swivel, no matter how hard we try. Called Delta for advice and they said just return it. Unacceptable. Never going to buy another Delta product.

I just bought a seemingly identical shower head from Bed Bath & Beyond but the model number is 75591. Can you tell me what the difference between the 75591 and the 58480 models are? Are there any functional or physical differences?

I am happy to assist you today.
The only differences between the model 75591 and 58480-PK is the appearance of the spray face for each model design-wise, the flow rate (in gallons per minute), and total length of the hose included with each model.
Model 75591 has a maximum flow rate of 2.0 GPM and includes a 72" hose whereas model 58480-PK has a maximum flow rate of 1.75 GPM and includes a 60-82" hose.

help with getting hand held shower head out of stationary shower head

Thank you for your question! There are two tabs that lock the hand shower in place at the bottom of the fixed shower head. Pulling the handle toward you will release it. When docking it back into the shower head, please be sure that the small tab on the top of the hand shower is inserted first before pressing it into the shower head.

What shower trim goes with 58480PN

The box says guaranteed for life but the website says lifetime limited warranty. Which is it for the 58480-pk? Also what is the limited lifetime warranty or where can i find it on your website?

How do I detach the inner shower spray?

Thank you for your question. I would be more than happy to assist you. TO remove the handshower from the showerhead, you would pull the handshower away and downward from the showerhead. Page 2 of the link below shows how it installs into the showerhead. I hope this helps.

My plumber installed a Symmons Orinins S96001-P valve already. Can that valve be used with this shower head and trim kit?

We can not guarantee, however, that our shower trim kits will work with another company's rough-in valve. Thank you for your question. To install the Delta In2ition 58480-CZ-PK model, you will definitely need a rough-in valve R10000-UNBX. You can then pick any Champagne Bronze finished valve only trim, shower arm and flange of your choice. I have included the link below with all the available finish colored trims.

Water comes out of the attached piece of the shower head but we are not able to get any water to come out of the detachable piece on the shower head. Where is the setting to turn it on?

The Delta In2ition 5-Setting Shower Head 58480-PK has a knob on the right side of the mounted/fixed shower head, that diverts the water to the shower head only, hand shower only or both units at the same time. We would advise turning the knob, while water is running to set the function for both shower head and hand shower option. Please refer to page 2 diagram C for these directions, in the below link.

Is the part that connects the shower head to the pipe coming from the wall metal or plastic? What’s the diameter of just the handheld sprayer?

Thank you for your question. The Delta 58480-PK In2ition 2-in-1 Shower Unit does include a non-metallic thread connection. Non-metallic parts are beneficial in that they do not rust or corrode. Please know that all of our products are tested to ensure long-lasting use and have a Lifetime Limited Warranty.
The diameter of the hand shower unit measures 3 15/16" (100 mm).

Is there a mount available to place the sprayer on the wall instead of back into the main assembly? I would prefer magnetic, however a clamp would work as well.

Does the 58480-PN-PK shower head require a flange?
Because of the diverter switch between shower head and shower arm, it doesn't look like a flange would be needed or would fit. If it is required, please recommend a flange model # in polished nickel that can be used.

Thank you for your question. This shower head will connect directly to the shower arm. The shower arm flange is used to cover the hole for the shower arm and should still be used. You can use a RP72562PN, RP52144PN, or RP34356PN flange.

Need longer shower arm

Can you buy hardware to mount the handheld separately?
Love the integration of the handheld into the showerhead, but would also like an option to mount the handheld by itself little lower on the wall -- for those times when I'm not washing my hair. Do you have compatible hardware for doing that?

or will the

Monitor® 14 Series Tub and Shower Trim - Less Head
Model#: T14461-LHD
works just as well with it?
I ask because the 17 series notes the Dual-function pressure balance cartridge and the 14 series does not.

It depends on your preference, if you want to control the temperature and volume separately (T17461) or one constant pressure with temperature adjustment (T14461-LHD).

SHOWERHEAD 58480-PN-PR25 How do you set it so both shower heads spray at the same time? Can get a good spray from each one separately. But when both are in hanging position, the outer ring sprays and the inner one just emits a trickle.
