Rated 2 out of 5 by from Restricted Water Flow Makes Features Useless Bought this for our new home as it coordinated nicely with our other fixtures. The promotional pictures and literature looked great! Unfortunately, although it looks nice, most of the functionality is left wanting due to restricted water flow. The flow is restricted to the point most of the spay options are generally useless. As a result, we only use one...and that one is barely satisfactory. If design is your main concern, this showerhead might be a decent choice, if you want a showerhead with a nice massage function or one that will clear the shampoo out of your hair quickly, you might look elsewhere. I will say we are very happy with the rest of our Delta fixtures and would recommend them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pros are the square vs rounded look, the black matte finish is durable / looks great after almost a full year of use, and flow from the handheld unit on its own is excellent. Cons are that the flow is weak if trying to use both the stationary head and the handheld together. The biggest issue - the magnets are not strong enough to hold the handheld unit in place. Slightly moving the stationary head to adjust it, or hanging it up without making sure the hose is not twisted results in an unpleasant surprise of the handheld unit falling, twisting, and spraying everywhere. Were it not for this, I would have rated 4 stars.

Is this product made of plastic with a thin coat of chrome that will break off after a short time of use.

I am trying to install and shower water filter to this shower head. How can I take it apart? Would the filter attach to the hose?

What do "HSSH" and "Universal Showering" mean? I notice some product names mention these things and others don't, but I don't see anything in the descriptions that would indicate what they are.

I just purchased a delta shower and tub combo. If I wanted to upgrade the shower head that you can take off will this be compatible? I see in the picture the water lever has two handles. The one I have is just one.

If I own the Ashlyn Monitor 14 Series Single Function Pressure Balanced Shower Only.  Can I switch my shower head for this one or do I need to change the rest too (the 14 knob to 17 knob)?

I bought the shower head for my studio and it has a very flexible hose. I just bought another one for my master bath and the hose is really stiff. How do I get the one with the flexible hose again when ordering ?

Our Delta Faucet In2ition HSSH 1.75 GPM 4-Setting In Chrome MODEL#: 58498 hose may be stiff due to being in the package for a while, we would recommend laying the hand shower and hose down to the floor of the shower. Next, turn on the hottest water and let run from hand shower for about 5 min, then turn the water to the coldest water and let run for another 5 min. Lastly, keep the hand shower down for another 5 min, the heat and rapid cool should help loosen the hose and make it more flexible. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. The water comes out good with the exception of one hole/jet in which the water just slowly drips out. I don't know why it would be just one hole/jet that the water doesn't come out as it should (only 6 months old). Is there a way to try and open/clog it?

Our products have a Limited Lifetime Warranty that covers parts (other than electronic parts and batteries) and finishes of Delta® faucets purchased from authorized Delta sellers to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns the home in which the faucet was first installed. Is there a setting in the control handle that can be adjusted to allow more hot water to flow through the head?

In general, metal parts are usually brass (hub, handle, body, tube, fittings), zinc (escutcheon, hub, handle), or stainless steel (set screw, undercover plate). How to hang up hand held portion?

How can I get more flow and pressure?  It really reduces previous flow. Barely allows enough water to flow to make head useable. Is there a restrictor that can be removed?  Pressure is about 80 psi. Previous head was Delta. No problem with pressure.

58498-SS can the diverter only be on the right side when facing the shower head? Is there a way to install it on the left with the hose still out the bottom?

Do you offer a longer hose that is compatible with the 4-Spray In2ition Dual Shower Head with Handheld Spray, Matte Black Shower Head with Hose, Matte Black 58498-BL? The 60-82-in stretchable metal hose that was included isn't long enough for us.

However, most hand shower hoses/shower heads/hand showers are all a standard 1/2" connection so another manufacturer's hose that is longer will more than likely be compatible.
