The Delta® In2ition® Two-in-One Shower features a detachable hand shower which can be used separately from or simultaneously with the shower head. This integrated dual-functionality gives you maximum flexibility without sacrificing warmth, as you can choose to have water streaming from the shower head only, the hand shower only or both the shower head and hand shower at once. Nice Shower head
It’s good looking and it works. I’d give it 5 stars if it didn’t have the California water restrictions. As it is, I feel like I’m using more water because the rinse takes longer.I like saving water, but I definitely prefer my older shower head and stronger water stream.

Looks nice, poor performance
This was installed on a brand new build so there was no buildup of anything in any of the pipes. It was also a home run install with only one 90° fitting (vega)at the mixing valve and a total of 20 ft from the manifold. The amount of water coming out of this unit is in my opinion extremely poor. If you're used to just having water weekly, hit you then it's something I would consider, but otherwise I would look elsewhere as the restrictors in this unit make the water flow so lightly that it doesn't feel like you're getting any type of soap off of your body.

HORRIBLE!!!
We paid a lot of money for this shower head and it worked for less than 8 months. The handheld sprayer no longer has different spray patterns. No matter what position, all that happens now is the sprayer has a weak spray from all the holes - rotating the lever does absolutely nothing - no massage, no pulsating, no pause. I've had waaay cheaper showerheads last for a lot longer. For what this showerhead cost, this should be built much better and certainly last a lot longer than those cheapo $35 models. Now, because it is so poorly designed/manufactured, I've got to waste my time and go through the hassle of trying to get it replaced under the "Lifetime Warranty." THIS WAS A BAD PURCHASE!

Worked great until…
When I purchased this product it worked great. Awesome water pressure and the handheld was perfect. After a few months, the handheld start to act up. No matter which setting it was on the water just sprayed out of every hole. Nothing would change. I’m hoping this is under warranty…

hand held portion fails to lock in easy
This fails to lock into place, hand held portion dropped out of holder as a result and thin black treaded portion of handle broke. this is only about 6 months old.

Shower (detachable) components
Thought the shower attachments would fit the "conventional size" shower spicket. No so, we had to use plumber's tape to wrap around the edge of the pipe so no leakage would occur from the shower attachment. Worked well. Still some very slight leakage out of one of the shower heads, but overall we are happy with our purchase. Would still recommend.

Beautiful and functional
This showerhead works really well and provides a good range of adjustability. The only reason to give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that locking the center part back in place is tricky even when you know how to do it. But aside from that it's basically perfect.

If you don’t mind no water- works great. Restricted water flow. (Couldn’t even get shampoo out of my hair!)Went back to old 1980 shower head.I really liked the look too. Very disappointed.

Love the fullness of the shower!
This shower head has 3 settings: inside head, outer head, and both inner and outer heads. I prefer both heads running, but I did lose a littler water pressure when using both. The smaller head has 4 different settings on it as well. Works wonderful and I love how big the radius of the spray is. Keeps me warm and not cold at all.
Something to keep in mind though - we had a shower rack hanging from the shower head and when we installed this it stopped the shower head from being able to tilt up and down. So we’re removing it. Still happy with it though.

Love the fullness of the spray
I like the simplicity of this shower head. You have 3 settings: outer head, inner head, and outer and inner head together. When I had both heads running I lost some of the water pressure (not sure if that has to do with the shower head or our home). It’s a nice full shower head when both of them are running.
The inner shower head has different settings as well. All in all, it’s a great shower head and looks nice.
We had a shelf rack hanging from the shower head which didn’t allow the shower head to tilt down at all. So we are going to remove it, but just something to be aware of.

Easy install
This was easy to install and has very good instructions for installation. It doesn't have great pressure but it is still nice. The different settings are good and I love the fact that you can take the middle sprayer out to use in your hand. You can set it to just the middle or both it's very nice.

Great features
I got this shower head a couple weeks ago and I'm loving it. It has a generous amount of settings and it was very easy to install. It has made showering so much easier and comfortable. I'm able to give my dogs a bath with easy rinse thanks to the detachable shower head.

How do you change the settings to make the water come out of one, the other, or both?

Thank you for your question. The Delta 58499-RB In2ition 2-in-1 Shower Unit has a small diverter lever on the right side at the back of the fixed shower head. Push down to change water from one shower component to the next.

Is there a way to get access to the diverter valve seals to grease them the valve is getting hard to turn? I see a cap on the opposite side not sure how that comes off?
