PRODUCT FEATURES
The Delta® In2ition® Two-in-One Shower features a detachable hand shower which can be used separately from or simultaneously with the shower head. This integrated dual-functionality gives you maximum flexibility without sacrificing warmth, as you can choose to have water streaming from the shower head only, the hand shower only or both the shower head and hand shower at once. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. The pause setting gives you ample space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks, without worrying about overspray or water waste. This spray setting helps you conserve water, so you can worry less about depleting your supply of hot water - and you help the environment too. Delta WaterSense labeled faucets, showers and toilets use at least 20% less water than the industry standard—saving you money without compromising performance.
  • The In2ition® Two-in-One Shower gets water where you need it most using the integrated shower head and hand shower separately or together

Q&A

water off for several days - now extremely low pressure and I need to clear out the water filter - where is it - where can i see a video or example - is there a special tool i need - we have very hard water and lots of sediment- this must be cleared out

Asked by: Sharon
Hello Sharon! Thank you for your question and we are happy to help. To flush the shower, please follow the instructions below: Depending on where your supply shut-offs are, you may want another person to help. Caution: the water may be very hot. Turn off the hot and cold supply to the valve. This may involve shutting off the water to the entire residence. Or there may be supply stops on the valve itself, or just for the fixture or room. Turn the volume control on to relieve any pressure behind the valve. Remove the handle, There may also be a trim sleeve to slide off of the valve. If you have supply stops on the valve itself, you will remove the escutcheon plate to access those. Remove the bonnet (A strap wrench works best to not deform the bonnet). Be careful not to twist the valve. Remove the cartridge by wiggling as you pull, taking care to protect the stem. If the cartridge has a metal stem, reattach the handle to provide a better grip. Check inside the valve for any other components and remove those. Once all the parts have been removed from the valve, close the shower curtain or door. Caution: the water may be very hot. Turn the water supply valves on and let the water run for 60-90 seconds. Perform any maintenance on the removed components. Reassemble the shower valve. Check for leaks. With any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly. Best Regards, Carrie

I have this showerhead and the handheld shower head dropped down and broke off from the hose.  Is there a way to repair or do I need to replace the entire shower head?

Asked by: Kaly

Why are we not getting full hot water from our new showerhead Is there something in the mixer valve that could have caused that? This was a new install.

Asked by: Willy50
Hello Willy50! Thank you for your question and we are happy to help. We apologize for this information not being readily available to you. For the Delta Faucet In2ition HSSH 1.75 GPM 4-Setting In Chrome MODEL#: 58499 that is not getting full hot water, we recommend making sure that the rotational limit stop is where you would like it to be on the valve. We also recommend flushing the valves of new installations. To flush the valves, please follow the instructions below: Turn off the hot and cold supply to the valve. This may involve shutting off the water to the entire residence, or for the room or fixture. [Or there may be supply stops on the valve itself behind the escutcheon requiring removal of the handle.] Turn the volume control on to relieve any pressure behind the valve. Remove the handle, There may also be a trim sleeve to slide off of the valve. If you have supply stops on the valve itself, you will remove the escutcheon plate to access those. Remove the bonnet. A strap wrench works best to not deform the bonnet. Caution: Be careful not to twist the valve. Turn both of the water supply valves on full and let the water run for 60-90 seconds. Perform any maintenance on the removed components. Reassemble the shower valve. Check for leaks. With any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. Best Regards, Carrie

Asked by: Steven
Hi Steven, Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. We are happy to help! is the head plastic or metal.. the hose is metal but the hand held is not listed.

Asked by: nancy74
Hi nancy74, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 58499-SS. The hand shower is nonmetallic to ensure a long-lasting, high-quality product while maintaining safety control for the various temperatures of water that go through the product. With any showerhead or hand shower, for example, the part of the faucet that you would grab onto is typically made of plastic or a plastic mixture, as metal is heavier, susceptible to corrosion and retains heat. Please contact us directly if you have any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist

I have an In2ition shower head that was installed in December 2017 that has started to leak. The bathroom is attached to our bedroom so it drives us crazy at night. I'm not sure what cartridge I would need to replace in order to fix it. Please advise.

Asked by: Brinismom
Hi Brinismom, Thank you for your question! We apologize for the leak you are experiencing with your Delta Faucet In2ition® 1.75 GPM 4-Setting Hand Shower In Spotshield Brushed Nickel MODEL#: 58499-SN. We understand this can be very frustrating and will be happy to help you. The most common cause of a leak is debris. The best way to clear any debris is to flush the supply lines. To do this, turn off the water supplies, remove the cartridge, and turn the supplies back on for one minute. Please make sure that you are getting good flow through both the hot and cold sides while flushing. You can also shake the cartridge back and forth to make sure the back half of the cartridge rattles. This means that the pressure-balancing spool is moving freely, as it should. If it does not, you can try soaking the cartridge in white vinegar for about 15-30 minutes. You can also change the seals in your valve. You would need either the Delta Faucet Cartridge Adapter - MultiChoice® 17 Series MODEL#: RP46073 or the Delta Faucet Seats, Springs & Quad Rings (2) MODEL#: RP28603, depending on what series shower you have installed. You can purchase parts online, locally, or over the phone. Please see our Where to Buy page for help finding dealers in your area or online. https://www.deltafaucet.com/where-to-buy To order parts over the phone, please call us at 1-800-345-3358, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 8 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm Eastern Standard Time. We accept Visa or MasterCard. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We look forward to continuing to serve you. Please feel free to contact us back for further assistance.
