PRODUCT FEATURES
The Delta® In2ition® Two-in-One Shower features a detachable hand shower which can be used separately from or simultaneously with the shower head. This integrated dual-functionality gives you maximum flexibility without sacrificing warmth, as you can choose to have water streaming from the shower head only, the hand shower only or both the shower head and hand shower at once. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. The pause setting gives you ample space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks, without worrying about overspray or water waste. This spray setting helps you conserve water, so you can worry less about depleting your supply of hot water - and you help the environment too. Delta WaterSense labeled faucets, showers and toilets use at least 20% less water than the industry standard—saving you money without compromising performance.
  • The In2ition® Two-in-One Shower gets water where you need it most using the integrated shower head and hand shower separately or together
  • Perfect for bathing loved ones and pets as well as keeping the inside of your shower and tub clean
  • Soft, rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow you to easily wipe away calcium and lime build-up from the spray face of your shower head and hand shower with the touch of a finger
  • Installs in minutes
  • Spray settings include: Full Body spray, Full Spray with Massage, Massaging spray, and Pause
  • Pause feature reduces water to a trickle, giving you space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks while maintaining your temperature settings
  • Includes 60-82 in. stretchable metal hose
  • 3-way diverter allows for single or shared operation of the shower head and hand shower
  • Easy turn dial to change hand shower sprays

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Shower head The shower head is great overall. Lots of settings and the hose is a bit stretchy, which is nice. The only issue is the water pressure is very low. It’s not a problem in the rest of the house.

I am unable to rotate the ball joint to adjust the angle. Is there a trick to move it? I have another model purchased about 5 years ago that rotates up/down, side to side with no problem.

Asked by: dek2021
Hi dek2021, Thank you for contacting Peerless Faucet Company! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Here is what we can do to resolve your issue for you. Our Delta Faucet In2ition HSSH 1.75 GPM 4-Setting In Chrome MODEL#: 58499 should rotate on the ball joint 30 degrees if the head is too tight to rotate, the threaded connection at the back may be too tight. Thank you for being a loyal Peerless Faucet customer. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you. Please contact us back with any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole

Is there a way to increase the water flow? I understand you have to meet certain regulations, but is there a restricter that can be removed? I have my own well and need more force. Thanks.

Asked by: Jim G
Hello Jim G, Thank you for your question! We are happy to help! The Delta In2ition model 58499 has a flow rate of 1.75 GMP at 80 PSI. Unfortunately, there is no flow resistor that can be removed and keep the warranty valid. We do have many In2ition models that have a flow rate of 2.5 GPM at 80 PSI. With the link below you can filter for a shower head to meet your needs with features that include, but are not limited to ADA compliance, Water Sense Label, In2ition design, max flow rate, and finish. https://www.deltafaucet.com/bathroom/showering/two-in-one-shower-heads Please contact us if you have any questions or need further assistance. Hot water everywhere else but not in this shower. Only cold water coming out no matter where handle is turned.

Asked by: Reff
Hello Reff, Thank you for contacting us. I apologize for the low hot flow you are experiencing with your Delta Faucet and I am happy to help you. The most common cause of a low flow rate is debris. The best way to clear any debris is to flush the supply lines. To do this, turn off the water supplies, remove the cartridge, and turn the supplies back on for one minute. Please make sure that you are getting good flow through both the hot and cold sides while flushing. You can also shake the cartridge back and forth to make sure the back half of the cartridge rattles. This means that the pressure-balancing spool is moving freely, as it should. If it does not, you can try soaking the cartridge in white vinegar for about 15-30 minutes. Please contact us back directly via email with any further questions. Best Regards, Skyler

I have this showerhead and the handheld shower head dropped down and broke off from the hose.  Is there a way to repair or do I need to replace the entire shower head?

Asked by: Kaly

Why are we not getting full hot water from our new showerhead Is there something in the mixer valve that could have caused that? This was a new install.

Asked by: Willy50
Hello Willy50! Thank you for your question and we are happy to help. We apologize for this information not being readily available to you. For the Delta Faucet In2ition HSSH 1.75 GPM 4-Setting In Chrome MODEL#: 58499 that is not getting full hot water, we recommend making sure that the rotational limit stop is where you would like it to be on the valve. We also recommend flushing the valves of new installations. To flush the valves, please follow the instructions below: Turn off the hot and cold supply to the valve. This may involve shutting off the water to the entire residence, or for the room or fixture. [Or there may be supply stops on the valve itself behind the escutcheon requiring removal of the handle.] Turn the volume control on to relieve any pressure behind the valve. Remove the handle, There may also be a trim sleeve to slide off of the valve. If you have supply stops on the valve itself, you will remove the escutcheon plate to access those. Remove the bonnet. A strap wrench works best to not deform the bonnet. Caution: Be careful not to twist the valve. Remove the cartridge by wiggling as you pull, taking care to protect the stem. If the cartridge has a metal stem, reattach the handle to provide a better grip. Check inside the valve for any other components and remove those. Once all the parts have been removed from the valve, close the shower curtain or door. Caution: the water may be very hot. Turn both of the water supply valves on full and let the water run for 60-90 seconds. Perform any maintenance on the removed components. Reassemble the shower valve. Check for leaks. With any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. Best Regards, Carrie
