The Emerge™ Shower Column transforms your shower without altering the plumbing behind your shower wall. Inspired by modern European styles, the bold profile and impactful design exude an upscale motif while the customizability of the hand shower and overhead shower head combo revitalizes your showering experience. The Emerge Shower Column works with any overhead shower head with no need to run plumbing through the ceiling. An integrated, 3-way diverter allows use of the overhead shower and the hand shower together or separately.

We have not had the opportunity to use it at length yet, as it was just installed, but it looks fantastic. A great solution if you don't want to commit to a slide bar with a separate wall el. The built in transfer valve saves a lot of money over having a separate transfer valve, in both the material and plumbing labor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta Shower Columns are a great These Delta Shower Columns are a great way to upgrade a traditional shower valve and head to a rain shower head and adjustable height wand on a bar. They come with everything you need except the shower head and wand. If you can upgrade your shower valve trim and get a matching head and wand then it will be a matched set. The hardest part of the installation is probably drilling the holes for the bar mount. The kit comes with toggle type anchors. If you happen to land on a wall stud then you won't need them. The kit also comes with a 1/2" adapter that will take the place of the existing shower arm. The column features a built-in diverter valve located at the bottom of the bar. It is hard to see in the stock photos, but it is a twist to turn valve located right where the shower hose attaches to the bar. It allows you to switch between the head and the wand. I think these are a simple way to upgrade your shower experience without tearing out a wall and changing out valves and in-wall plumbing.

However, once it was installed- I fell in love with it. So versatile as you can use just the shower head alone if that’s what you need. I also love how it gives a “rain effect”. Very cool!

The hose length is long and perfect for all needs. The look alone is amazing, I am very happy with the choice and i highly recommend this product.

Delta is a trusted brand so when I decided to remodel my bathroom shower the universal shower column was a perfect fit for it. It was easy to install and was very happy with it. Going to look for a Delta faucet next.

I was frankly intimidated when I opened the box but installation was pretty simple (thank goodness) and the results are beautiful. So handy being able to use just the shower head or the hose and the adjustable feature is a hit with the grandkids. The quality is outstanding also. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to upgrade their current shower!

The look is exactly what we wanted in our shower and was fairly easy to install. Would recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Universal Shower Column. lots of choices. I really like this universal shower column. We installed this in our own personal residence. But we are also contractors and professionally, I recommend plumbing fixtures to our customers. I selected the chrome fixtures and have the flexibility to choose my own rain head and hand held . Some rain heads are just too gentle for me so I can get one with a little more force. Others prefer the gentleness so they have the option. I can also select the hand held to match my Delta faucets. The valve did not come with the kit and I suggest you have a plumber install it. But I am vary happy with the personalized options with universal shower systerm.

Hello,  Is there a way to add an extension to the top of the shower column to make it taller before attaching the overhead shower arm?

can this be used for an outdoor shower in a freezing location

Hi, JBLA! Thank you for your question. Unfortunately none of our shower units are specifically designed to be installed outdoors. They are not designed to withstand extreme cold weather conditions (freezing) or direct sunlight from the sun in the summer months. If you do decide to install one of our faucets outdoors, then please remember that our warranty only covers manufactures defects. I want to add a tub spout with this shower bar. What trim diverter and rough valve would I need for all three.

Thank you for your question, Kimmo! We do not advise connecting a tub spout to a diverter trim or valve. Instead, you will need an R10000 Universal Multichoice Rough-in valve as the mixer valve attached to a diverting tub spout. An R11000 diverter valve will be installed above this and will then divert water to either product separately or both simultaneously. Best regards, Edward
