With three spray-selection buttons and a pause feature, ActivTouch hand showers allow you to choose from up to nine different spray settings with a simple, one-handed activation, delivering a new level of innovation for an enhanced handheld showering experience. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. The pause setting gives you ample space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks, without worrying about overspray or water waste. This spray setting helps you conserve water, so you can worry less about depleting your supply of hot water - and you help the environment too.

Delta Handheld
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I selected the product due to past good experiences with Delta products. I have not been disappointed so far. This handheld is easy to handle, has several settings and excellent spraying power I am purchasing two more for the master shower.

Major design flaw!
This is one of my main shower heads. My shower head was installed by a master plumber during a home renovation in January 2023. The buttons stick in one position, following 6-10 weeks of light use (no children in our home). I will be calling Delta today for my second replacement. Delta customer service and their product warranty is great but it's going to become pretty annoying when I have to call to order a replacement every 90 days.

Wouldn't Recommend
We picked this shower head for 2 bathrooms on our new construction home. It is NOT great. It has TERRIBLE water pressure. My bathroom has several shower heads, so I don't even use this shower head. My children's bathroom has it and they have A LOT of difficulty rinsing all the shampoo/conditioner out of their hair. I am currently looking to replace both.

Stuck Buttons
The 3 shower wand buttons are all stuck and none would spring back, setting stuck in 3 button down setting. Very disappointed in this Delta product.

This shower head is awful
I bought this about two weeks ago because it thought it would be easy for my daughter with Cerebral Palsy to use. Now the buttons are stuck rendering the shower head pretty much useless. It's stuck on a spray that nobody likes.

Lightweight, easy push-button settings, weak massage
I bought this to replace an existing 8-year old delta massage wand. This one is easier to hold, and the push-buttons make it very good for arthritic hands.
However, the massage feature is very weak, especially compared to the older one.
The non-massage spray pattern is adjustable from firm to very soft. A very nice soft, high volume spray for rinsing.

The spray settings on model 59424-PK can be changed by rotating the face of the hand shower. The button on the front is the pause button, which reduces the water to a trickle. We recommend making sure the shower is not on "pause".

The spray settings are changed with three buttons on the back of the hand shower. An example of a hand shower that changes settings by turning the face is model RP104168PC.
