Rated 1 out of 5 by BethR from Poor Design This faucet will not work on a standard bathroom vanity with backsplash. The "hot" water motion of the lever is impossible, as the lever attempts to rotate 90 degrees clockwise, but crashes into the backsplash before being able to do so. A poor design that could be easily remedied by having the neutral position on the faucet at "9 o'clock" rather than "noon." Now have had to re order new faucets for bathrooms and move plumber out to allow for new shipment. More days without a bathroom sink for a rudimentary design flaw. Will be returning this product. Possibly could work on a pedestal sink application, but other than that, you're redesigning the wheel by moving the sink and faucet hole forward, and subsequently moving your drain and trap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by orchid414 from Beautiful and Well-Constructed We used these in our master bath remodel and they are beautiful. The single hole style, the 'sturdiness' of the fixture, brushed 'brilliant' stainless finish is lovely. The water control is very smooth. We used the Cassidy line throughout the bathroom and it really looks great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gretchen from Love my faucet! Love the way it looks and works. I now have 3 of the Venetian bronze faucets. 2 in the master bathroom. When installing, make sure not to place too far back which I reminded my installer from other reviews I saw. But, I need to have my husband change the valves so that the handle is down or close to sink for hot water. Our counter doesn't show it too bad, but I prefer not to get much water on it. Very solid and rich looking

Rated 5 out of 5 by kpj1957 from Love it Purchased five of these, two in Champagne bronze and three in chrome, for a recent bathroom remodel. Could not be more pleased with the quality, finish, function and design. Will be purchasing several more in a month or so when a new addition is complete.

Rated 2 out of 5 by potter56 from Warning on Installation WARNING - the faucet needs a 2 1/2 inch clearance on the back to operate properly Part of the drain assembly sticks out the back of the faucet. Unfortunately we had already installed the cabinets and granite before our contractor discovered the problem. The Delta consumer literature does not call that out - if it had we could have modified the plan to accommodate it. You will need to use Delta part 72173-RB to put in a pop-up drain stop. However - if you used a Kholer sink, you may need to use Kohler K7124A-2BZ pop-up drain stop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CAT53 from I LOVE this faucet! This faucet is easy to use and has a very updated look for our newly remodeled bathroom. I like the stainless steel as it doesn't show water spots. The faucet is well made and is sturdy built. I haven't found anything negative about this faucet. Oh, by the way, it has a nice warranty!

I purchased the Cassidy bronze singe faucet for bath. I need to fill the two holes on each side as they were 6 " and not 4". Are there bronze plugs available for purchase?
Hi, Nancy. Thank you for your question. We do not manufacture plugs for sink application. The escutcheon plate for the Delta 597LF-MPU faucet is a 4" center installation and will not cover 6" installation. Best Regards, Rosanna

does this faucet come with left side handle?
Dear Cm811, Thank you for your question! The Delta Cassidy Lavatory 597LF-MPU faucet is only designed with the handle on the right side of the faucet. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-L-597LF-MPU.pdf Best regards, Tanya

We just installed the Cassidy 597LF bathroom faucet. When we turn on the cold water it’s fine but the hot water is about 1/2 the flow rate as the cold. is there an adjustment to make the hot water flow rate higher.
Hi, Ksanders78! Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing low flow from your Delta faucet. You may need to flush out the valve body. To flush out the valve body, first turn off the water supply to the faucet. 1. Remove the handle. On the lever handle, you should find a small hex screw that can be loosened with a 3/32" Allen wrench. The handle will lift off when this screw is loose enough. 2. Once the handle has been removed, unscrew the dome-shaped cap. The domed shaped cap will unscrew counter-clockwise. 3. Unscrew the bonnet nut under the cap. 4. After these parts have been removed, you can then pull the valve cartridge assembly straight out. 5. Now, with the valve completely disassembled, place a bucket upside down over the top of the empty brass valve body. Turn the hot and cold water supplies back on and let the water run for about 10 to 15 seconds. The water will come directly up out of the valve and should mostly be deflected back into the sink by the bucket. You might have a little bit of water to clean up, though! 6. Shut off the water supplies. Make sure that the valve cartridge assembly does not have any debris stuck to them and reinstall them. Reinstall the valve cartridge assembly. Reinstall all parts. At this point, you can test the faucet again. If this does not fix the issue, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST. You may also email at email@example.com. Best Regards, Rosanna

I ordered the 597LF-RBMPU faucet yet our vanity has 8" on center 3 hole installation. What is the part number for the 8" escutcheon plate?
Hi, Ernie! Thank you for your question. The Delta 597LF-RBMPU faucet does not have an 8" escutcheon option. The escutcheon plate for the faucet is part number RP72711RB. This will fit a 4" center installation. Best Regards, Rosanna

My new sink vanity has only 1-3/8" clearance from the centerline single hole for the faucet to the backsplash. Can you recommend any Delta faucets?
The Cassidy looks great and I like the side handle (less dripping on top). I've only had Delta faucets and am very pleased with your customer service. I need a single hole traditional/transitional faucet for a petite vanity with integral sink: 23.5" x 18.5" with a 2" h backsplash. The sink basin measures 15.75"x10.5"x 6.5". Will the Cassidy fit? If not, what do you recommend? Thank you.
Dear Need2no, Thank you for your question. The Delta Cassidy Lavatory 597LF-MPU has a recommended distance minimum 2 1/2" (64 mm) clearance to the back splash, to ensure room for the lift rod of the faucet. This is the say recommended clearance for all of the standard lavatory Delta faucets. We would advised possible vessel sink style faucets for your install. Best regards, Tanya

Is the Hot water supposed to be towards you or away?
Hi, Leslie! Thank you for your question. The Delta 597LF-MPU faucet handle pulls out for cold and pulls toward you for hot. Best Regards, Rosanna

Is the exterior of this faucet entirely metal, or are parts of it (like the lever to turn it on and off) made of plastic?
Dear MM, Thank you for your inquiry! Yes, the exterior of the Delta Cassidy Lavatory 597LF-MPU faucet is made of metal. Best regards, Tanya
