The faucet is well made and is sturdy built. I haven't found anything negative about this faucet. Oh, by the way, it has a nice warranty!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently tore out a fiberglass "slop" sink in our utility room for a more updated look and better function. Hubby built a sink base, installed a granite counter top and stainless sink. We added this faucet in the Venetian color to compliment the granite. I love everything about this faucet - the single lever function, the uncluttered look and the color. We love it so much we are replacing the faucet as well as the coordinating towel bars and TP holder in the utility bathroom. I currently have the similar kitchen faucet in the arctic stainless color on order for the kitchen sink. I love the Cassidy Collection line and have the dual handle bathroom vanity faucets in the stainless color in my other two bathrooms as well as the coordinating towel bars, TP holder and hand towel ring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great One Hole Delta Faucet I just had this faucet installed in my Guest Bath. The vanity is 30" so I bought a smaller undermount oval sink and this faucet is perfect as it doesn't take up much countertop space. Unique and has two different base pieces, one to slightly raise the faucet or a plate about 4-5". I chose to set the faucet directly on the countertop to give it a neat and clean look, plus it is less pieces to clean. Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install Delta continues with innovative designs and features that are easy for the non-professional to install. My only issue was with the drain control lever at the back of the faucet. With granite countertops and backsplash, there was too little room for it to operate, a problem I was finding with nearly all single lever faucet options I saw. The solution was to purchase and install a Delta spring loaded pop up drain flange which works independently of the faucet's pop up lever mechanism.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great presentation; poor design This produce in stainless is a great show piece but the design of the drain plug is a total failure. We had the plumber come out 2x to attempt to get the sink to hold water when the lever was activated, never worked. We finally contacted the area rep for Delta and he explained how the part would have to be reversed to industry standard - really? after the price we paid? the plumber nor my husband could get it to work. Our retailer provided replacement drains but we still have to pay a plumber to reinstall these!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice faucet This is a nice looking faucet. I bought the entire Cassidy line for my master bath remodel. Initially I couldn't figure out how to stop the drain because it seems like the top is an handle you would pull up on to stop the drain- it's not. The thing you pull is actually behind the faucet, you can see it barely if you look in this picture. I don't prefer it being here because it makes it tight since it's pretty close to the backsplash even though I had my contractor put the hole as far away as possible from the backsplash on a new custom build vanity. They can only do it so close to the sink because there is a rim on the under mount sink. I wanted to have the sink as close to the front of the counter as possible but they can only do it so close because there has to be a good buffer so the granite doesn't break. I'd say if you don't have much room from your sink hole to the backsplash, this faucet may not work for you do to the location of the drain stopper. I also have to advise against the Brilliance Stainless finish because it stains much like a stainless steel dishwasher does. I wipe water off of it after each use but many people won't do that. Another irritation is that the on/off handle is not adjustable so for it to be all the way on hot, the handle touches the backsplash. So I have to be careful not to scratch the backsplash. I wanted to have my contractor adjust the handle so it wouldn't touch but it's not adjustable in that way. It doesn't actually touch the backsplash when it is on in the hot position, it barely misses it. It only touches if the handle is in the off position but all the way hot. So it wouldn't be a deal breaker. So it is a nice looking faucet, I do like it and have gotten compliments, it just won't be great for a tight space. But you may not even need the stopper if you don't plug the sink. My prior faucet was Delta as well, and with my old vanity, I didn't even have enough room to have that part installed whatsoever.

We like setting the lever to our usual preferred setting and gently toggling for water flow. I wanted an attractive faucet that was high enough/far enough reach for thorough face washing. We use Rain-X car wax to maintain a mirror like shine with easy touch-up.

What the plumber didn't like was there was no way to change the handle so he could have both handles facing the outside of the vanity. I have one hand on the facing inside of vanity and one facing outside of vanity. Is ok but would look better if the handles were capable of being changed.

I haven't had any issues with leakage and it looks stunning in our tuscan-style powder room. I would definitely recommend this faucet to anyone looking for a modern faucet, with a little bit of old world charm. Nice quality piece!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost Excellent I purchased this faucet to replace 20 year old builder grade faucets in a reno we recently purchased. The quality is almost excellent, the styling is beautiful and more importantly very functional. I wanted handle features that turned easily on and off with one hand and this is perfect. The only issue was the sink stopper, though metal, was attached to plastic and was broken off when received. Deltal replaced very quickly with no issues other than inconvenience for my contractor.

Do I need a thick deck mounting kit?

Reading reviews of another delta faucet I learned that some cannot be installed on standard 1 1/4" thick granite or quartz vanity top without also purchasing a delta thick deck mounting extension kit. Can this faucet be installed on 1 1/4 vanity tops or would I need to purchase an additional product? Thank you

What is the minimum width required to install the T4797 PNLHP roman tub faucet set?

I have purchased a pedestal tub which has a built-in flat area along the rim on one side, presumably intended for the placement of the faucet. The flat area is 9 inches from end to end. I read somewhere in the specs that the installed valve hardware will have a spread of between 8 and 16 inches. Does this mean the 9 inches of flat space on my tub is wide enough for the installation of this T4797 PNLHP faucet?

Hi JK, Thank you for your question. The 8" is measured to the faucet centers, this is the measurement between the center of the 2 faucet handles. The model T4797-PNLHP shows a 10"-16" installation to give the lever style handles sufficient space to move freely. This dimension does not include the hand shower. The T4797-PNLHP is too wide for your 9" area. Thanks, Dave

Can the handle be changed with the Handle Options p87 catalog French Curve Handle H298PN?

We ordered 597LF, however now that our counter top is being installed we do not have enough space to clear the handle from turning toward the back. We noticed the handle pulls out and front and back.Does the handle controls anything moving lever back?

Can I use Windex to clean the faucets?

Thank you for your question, Eric D! Cleaning with a damp non-abrasive sponge and buffing it dry with a clean soft cloth should help keep your product looking beautiful. To remove water spots, use warm water and a soft, damp cloth. Hard water stains may be removed using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Make certain that you rinse the surface thoroughly with water afterward.
