Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well-constructed with beautiful finish Fine quality casting on brass base metal, with beautiful polished-nickel finish. (Hint: Keep a cloth handy to wipe up water splashes after each use and you won't have spots that you'll have to clean off later.) Installation was very easy with included wrench. Plastic (PEX?) supply lines and fittings were a new thing to me but went on well. Instructions could be clearer regarding the use of the additional supply line fittings--only needed if you want to trim the lines. I kept the lines original length and simply looped them around. Certainly, the finest quality faucet I've ever had.

The faucet hole is 1” to backsplash. Will the lift rod work? If not which one hole faucet will work? Will the handle work?

How do I remove the handle to install the indicated ring?  My understanding is to pull straight out to the side. It doesn’t budge. Is this the correct method?

Where is the flow restrictor located on the 597LFMPU faucet?

If the flow is less than 1.2 GPM @ 60 PSI, we would recommend flushing the faucet and cleaning the aerator to remove any debris. Trying to remove the aerator in my Cassidy bathroom faucet but the delta key does not engage with the grooves. How can I fix this?

Hi Susan, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! The aerator on our 597LF-MPU requires the aerator wrench to remove the aerator. The wrench should fit in the grooves and will rotate counterclockwise to remove. There may be calcium/mineral buildup around the aerator if it is tight. Does this faucet have a rotational limit stop (or some other way) to adjust the maximum temperature of the water? The water coming out of my faucet is too hot. The manual does not mention this adjustment.

my handle is loose on my 597LF-SSMPU delta Cassidy. Is there a way to tighten the handle to the faucet? I do not see an Allen screw. Does the back of the handle come off exposing a fastening device that has come loose. Do you have a parts diagram?

I installed the Cassidy single handle faucet in a bathroom.  I believe the faucet came with a 1.5 gpm part and it puts out a lot of water.  What is the part number for a 1.2 gpm part so I can reduce the water flow?  Thanks!

Please tell me where I can find a Delta Cassidy matching pop-up drain without overflow that works by pushing on the drain cap rather than using the rod on the faucet. My installation does not have enough clearance behind the faucet to pull the rod up.
