Love it with one exception...
This towel ring is really nice and looks beautiful in my bathroom. The ring is pretty large though, so you need to have enough room for it. The only downside to this (and this applies to the toilet paper holder too) is the little hex screw that holds it in place. When installing this, you have to attach a metal plate to the wall with 2 screws. Then the body of the unit attaches to the metal plate and is held in place by a small hex screw on the underside. This is a really nice cosmetic set-up because you don't have any exposed screws, creating a sleek appearance. The problem is with the hex screws. When tightening the hex screw with the allen wrench (included with item), I kept having the hex screw get stripped. I wasn't over tightenting either. I am afraid that if the screw ever becomes loose or if I ever have to take the towel holder down for some reason, I will not be able to because the hex screw is stripped. This really shouldn't be a problem if they only had the screws made out of slightly better material. I have never had a problem with stripping out these types of screws before in my life, and I have used allen wrenches for many different applications.
Otherwise, I really like these towel rings. I just hope I don't ever have to move them.

Is the color of your discontinued Talbott Venetian bronze? And which other model most closely match its color for accessories?
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 73846-RB is still a good number. Anything is the Venetian Bronze finish will match this accessory.

I am trying to remove the towel holder from the wall in order to do some painting. I don't have a tool of the proper size/type to loosen the set screw, what do I need in order to loosen the set screw?
Thank you for your question, Chris747! The set screw can be loosened with a 8-32 x 7/16" cone point hex socket screw. The ring will then lift off of the mounting bracket. Please let us know if you have any further questions or need assistance.

Does the ring swing or is it stationary?
