Can the Dryden Towel Ring be installed so that the opening is on the right?

How do I remove the mounting bracket from the back of the dryden towel ring so I can mount it on the wall?

For the Delta Dryden Towel Ring - how can I get a replacement screw that s installed underneath the Dryden near the end that attaches to the wall plate. This screw tightens the connection to the wall plate.
