Easy install, great flow!
The easiest shower head I’ve ever installed. Flow is great and the option to regulate is a nice feature.
Test of time will tell if Delta holds to its claim of minimal clogging due to hard water as all my past shower heads have clogged.

Terrible Pressure!
The Delta shower head 75554C is not as described. The strongest setting has a gentle flow and the other settings flow are just shameful. Beware.

Very Unhappy
I bought this shower head based on the Delta brand name and because I have Delta faucets in my home and have been very pleased with their performance. But, boy, am I disappointed. This shower head worked for about two weeks and then the turn knob stopped working. I'm now stuck in a shower setting that is just a fine mist that fills the shower. When I open the shower door to enter after turning it on, water gets all over my floor because the water stream is not concentrated. And it's impossible to wash the shampoo out of my hair. What a nightmare! Since I tossed the box after having this installed, I can't return it to Home Depot, so I wrote to Delta customer service -- TWICE -- to see if they would do anything under the warranty, and to date, I have not received a response. So now, I guess I need to hire another handyman to remove this shower head and to replace it at my own cost, even though it's covered by a warranty. What happened to Delta and its reputation for customer service?

High Quality Showerhead
I bought one of these a couple years ago. The finish instantly captured me so I had to buy it. After returning home, I installed it and it was very easy to install, took less than 10 minutes. Later on that day I decided to try it out and take a shower. It worked very well. Feels really good on my back and scalp. I definitely recommend.

Shower Install
Love Delta shower heads. This Delta shower head was really easy to install and required only a couple tools. The only downside to the shower head, is it was kind of pricey.

Is the drenching spray like the soft drench on the RP78575SS?

does the head have a flow rate controller? If so, can it be removed?

Yes, this shower does have a flow restrictor and while it is possible to remove the flow restrictor from our shower heads and hand helds, we strongly advise against it for several reasons. Flow restrictors are an integral part of most aerators and it is generally not possible or desirable to remove them and could cause damage to the unit and will void the warranty for the product.
Also, for water conservation purposes, most plumbing codes require faucets and showering devices to not exceed a certain maximum flow rate. Removing the flow restrictors could cause these devices to no longer meet these codes.

Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta 5-Setting Shower Head 75554C is designed with a flow rate of 1.75 GPM at 80 PSI. There is no way of increasing or decreasing this flow rate.

How do you change the shower head spray from one spray to another; i.e. full body to drenching or vice versa?
Hi DeeDeeO! Thank you for your question! I will be happy to help. There is a mode selector you slide left and right on the showerhead. If you look closely at the photo of the showerhead you can see the tab used for this.

How do I select the shower mode type easily? The selector does not move eadily.

The tab on the showerhead is used to rotate the face of the showerhead and select the spray mode. If the selector does not loosen through use, the showerhead may need to be replaced.

I installed a delta 5 spray showerhead (ie I screwed it on) . I can't change the direction of the shower head. Is it supposed to be fixed?
