Designed to fit a standard shower arm, the HydroRain® Two-in-One Shower Head with Hand Shower installs in minutes. Magnet not strong enough
I like the looks and functions. Real problem with magnetic mechanism that the hand held shower head is supposed to lock onto. It comes in hooked and the shower head, which is substantial in weight falls either hitting shower wall or person showering. Is there a way to strengthen magnet? If so I would definitely want that!

I bought Delta #75698 and the plastic washer inside the main shower swivel head broke - the entire head nearly fell on my head - no customer service re the number listed. :(

Get the 2.5gpm model!
I'm remodeling a bathroom and was looking at different shower heads. I have to admit I read a bunch of reviews and was very apprehensive about the pressure, the handle, the diverter, etc, so I decided to pick this one (brushed nickel, spotshield, 2.5gpm) up at Lowe's and try it out in my guest bath first. It cost just under $130.00 with tax.
Fear no more! This is a fantastic shower head! It has a decent weight and solid feel to it. Its is absurdly easy to install - I used teflon tape but the instructions don't require it. It took a sum total of about 5 minutes for me to twist it together. I can't speak for the 1.75gpm versions, but this one puts out exceptionally good pressure even with both heads running. For those who said that they have issues with the handle locking in place, unless you're trying to jam it in backwards and upside down I seriously don't get it. The magnet holds the hand-held shower easily, there's a supportive clasp/clip that assists it, its not difficult to remove or return, and it's very secure & feels quite solid. On one of the many reviews someone complained about not being able to move the diverter switch without turning the water off - I have to assume that one is defective or broke because this has no such problems; its easy to switch between modes with the water on full blast.
In any event, I heartily recommend it. Its a nearly instant shower upgrade!

Excellent Product, Highly Recommend!
I bought this handheld shower head and used it for approx 6 months before selling my house. It had excellent water flow, handheld piece easily attached to its magnetic holder and stayed in place, no problems whatsoever. Would highly recommend this item. I am now building a new house and need this identical item in an oiled bronze finish, but that's not offered. Any plans to make this in the bronze finish?

Finished remodel on our home and first time using the shower, the wand fell off the holder and snapped at the wand/hose connection. Cannot find a replacement. Now have to go buy another shower head and $130 down the drain!

Our hand shower connections have a standard size so the hose can be replaced. The included 60" metal hose can be replaced with the RP64157 69" UltraFlex hose, the 84" U494R-84-PK, or the U495D-60-PK 60"-80" stretchable hose.

I can’t get the handheld wand to stay in place. The magnet isn’t strong enough and the hook won’t hold either. Does it have to be almost straight up and down? Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I have the Hydrorain shower head with hand shower. Have had this for about a year and just noticed that the shower head only has water flowing out of the small holes. It is not using the full shower head. What can I do to change that.

I like ;model 75698DSN. What about the handle to turn on the water and select hot and cold? I am having my tub removed to a walk in shower unit. These things need changed. This model is most like what Delta sprayer I already have.

Our shower head threads seem to be smaller than the new shower head. How can we fix that?

All current Delta showerheads use 1/2" threading. If your shower arm threading is a different size the shower arm can be replaced. For example, the model U4993-PK arm and flange.

The hose is listed as 60”. Is this able to be replaced with a longer hose? Is this hose stretchable to 82” like some of the other Delta configurations?

The hose included with 75698DSN is 60" inches and does not stretch. Our Delta Faucet U495D-SS60-PK is our 60"-80" inch stretchable metal hose. Please note our Satin Nickel and Stainless Steel are different finishes, but they are similar.
