Designed to fit a standard shower arm, the HydroRain® Two-in-One Shower Head with Hand Shower installs in minutes. Once installed, it provides you with a luxurious shower experience and complete control over your water with a pivoting raincan and the option to use the raincan on its own, the hand shower on its own, or both together. While other products may gather unsightly mineral build-up over time, Delta soft rubber Touch-Clean® spray holes allow any mineral residue to simply be wiped away for an instantly refreshed look – with no need for soaking or the aid of chemical cleaners. The pause setting gives you ample space for shaving, lathering and other shower tasks, without worrying about overspray or water waste. This spray setting helps you conserve water, so you can worry less about depleting your supply of hot water - and you help the environment too.

Perfect
Absolutely love it! I give my dog a bath without straining my back. The water pressure is the best, I didn’t think it would be. I really thought it would just be average but my husband loves water pressure and so do I. Delta products really do make the difference! We haven’t even used the main shower head because the smaller one is what it was set on and it’s so good we haven’t even turned on the top faucet yet.

At any price point the water pressure of this showerhead would be disappointing, but at this price it is unacceptable. Do not buy this under any circumstances, you *will* regret it.

Don't buy Delta shower heads with plastic parts
I bought Delta #75698 and the plastic washer inside the main shower swivel head broke - the entire head nearly fell on my head - no customer service re the number listed. :(

Get the 2.5gpm model!
I'm remodeling a bathroom and was looking at different shower heads. I have to admit I read a bunch of reviews and was very apprehensive about the pressure, the handle, the diverter, etc, so I decided to pick this one (brushed nickel, spotshield, 2.5gpm) up at Lowe's and try it out in my guest bath first. It cost just under $130.00 with tax.
Fear no more! This is a fantastic shower head! It has a decent weight and solid feel to it. Its is absurdly easy to install - I used teflon tape but the instructions don't require it. It took a sum total of about 5 minutes for me to twist it together. I can't speak for the 1.75gpm versions, but this one puts out exceptionally good pressure even with both heads running. For those who said that they have issues with the handle locking in place, unless you're trying to jam it in backwards and upside down I seriously don't get it. The magnet holds the hand-held shower easily, there's a supportive clasp/clip that assists it, its not difficult to remove or return, and it's very secure & feels quite solid. On one of the many reviews someone complained about not being able to move the diverter switch without turning the water off - I have to assume that one is defective or broke because this has no such problems; its easy to switch between modes with the water on full blast.
In any event, I heartily recommend it. Its a nearly instant shower upgrade!

The 75698SN is a 1.75 gpm @ 80 psi and the 75698DSN is 2.5 gpm @ 80 psi, the only difference is the flow rate.

I am struggling to find the shower valve trim (only) that I can buy to match this shower head. I want it in spotshield brushed nickel to match. When I see trim only for sale it is in stainless. Help!

what kind of shower valve do I need to purchase to go with this? Can I use the Delta Universal Rough In Valve that is sold to go with the Ashlyn Monster 17 series

Does this model come with rough-in plumbing diverter?

No, a diverter trim kit is not necessary for this model. Not shown in the photo is a selector switch on the right side of the the showerhead allowing you to switch modes.

I have a model 75698 delta shower head, that won't stay up because the ball joint does not have enough friction to hold it in place, anyway to tighten it?

I removed my shower head to do some tile work, and now the roller ball at the arm attachment is loose and leaking. How do I tighten this up? Is the ring at the ball supposed to be a split ring?

The ball is part of the shower head that attaches it to the shower arm. If this part is damaged the entire showerhead will need to be replaced.

How do you switch between water coming from the fixed shower head to the removable shower head.? THere doesn't seem to be an obvious switch in the photos.

Our products do have a Limited Lifetime Warranty that covers, all parts (other than electronic parts and batteries) and finishes of Delta® faucets purchased from authorized Delta sellers to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns the home in which the faucet was first installed.
