Terrible shower ,don't buy it.
I bought this yesterday at ACE, used it this morning and it is complete junk. Tomorrow I will throw it in the trash because I used it once, so I can't return it. I've never paid 30 bucks for one shower, until today. There's no water pressure at all.If you have long hair definitely don't buy this. This shower head deserves zero stars . Tomorrow I have to go purchase another handheld shower.

I have to sit on a bath chair to shower and it was very inconvenient to change the direction of the water flow. With the handheld shower I can remain safely seated and take a shower. I really like the variety of settings on the showerhead. Great product for the price.

Don't buy, no water pressure!
I Had this shower head installed by a professional plumber. Been using it for a week and the water pressure is terrible. Even the pulsating position doesn't pulsate. Was told by customer support that it is factory set at 1.8 and the best they can offer for a different model is 2.5. Don't waste your money if you want any water pressure at all to shower with.

Terrible water pressure after installing
Have been using for over a week now and this shower head is terrible! Water pressure before this shower head was great, now it's like getting spit on no matter which spray you select. And there are not 7 sprays, more like 4, some of them don't seem to change the water stream at all. Definitely won't buy this one again, I'm ready to return it.

I just installed this shower head and it lacks from the wall-side of the ball joint (not from the joint with the pipe.) It seems to be leaking from the same location as the crack in the washer between the ban and the nut. Is that supposed to be cracked?
I bought mine from Ace Hardware and the little plastic piece is cracked on mine as well and make the same way. After two weeks of use the whole head shot off the ball joint while I was showering

I bought a 75701CSN 7 spray hand shower yesterday and followed the instruction including using three wraps of Teflon tape at the three joints and the head drips. I used hand pressure only and no tools to tighten the joints. is there an off position?

I just purchased the 75701CSN , 7 spray hand held shower, brushed nickel. Does this have "back flow prevention"? All the reviews I read before getting never mentioned needing to have this. Also, must you put plumbers tape on or can you do without it?

The Delta Faucet 7-Setting Hand Shower In Chrome MODEL#: 75701C has backflow protection by means of two check valves that individually meet the requirements of ASME A112.18.3. Here is a link to the technical specifications sheet for this unit to show this certification:

It is recommended to wrap plumbers tape 2-3 times around the threads of the shower arm only.

There was no yellow tape and both ends of the hose are different so which one goes to the sprayer?

Both ends of the hose have the same thread and seal. The end with the cone-shaped nut should go on the hand shower. The hand shower docks to the shower arm mount with the cone-shaped nut on the end of the hose.

75701C leaks where the hose attaches to the shower mount. One end of the hose the threaded sleeve slides on the hose, on the other end the threaded sleeve is fixed. Which end of hose should be attached the shower mount?

I installed a 75701CSN a couple of weeks ago and I have a problem. Directly under the hand help part of the unit there is an orange residue or stain that shows up after I shower. It cleans off but comes right back after the next shower. What is that?

Our 75701C maximum flow rate is 1.75 GPM at 80 PSI. There is a built-in flow restrictor that is not designed to be removed. Please note if the flow restrictor is found and removed it will void any warranties available on the product.

Thank you for your question and we are happy to help. We apologize for this information not being readily available to you. For low flow from the Delta Faucet 7-Setting Hand Shower In Chrome MODEL#: 75701C, we recommend flushing the valves of the shower as well as soaking the spray head with 50% warm water and 50% white vinegar. There is no flow restrictor to remove and we do not recommend removing flow restrictors as it will void the lifetime limited warranty. To flush the shower valves, please follow the instructions below:
Turn off the hot and cold supply to the valve. This may involve shutting off the water to the entire residence, or for the room or fixture. [Or there may be supply stops on the valve itself behind the escutcheon requiring removal of the handle.]
Turn the volume control on to relieve any pressure behind the valve.
Remove the handle, There may also be a trim sleeve to slide off of the valve.
If you have supply stops on the valve itself, you will remove the escutcheon plate to access those.
Remove the bonnet. A strap wrench works best to not deform the bonnet.
Caution: Be careful not to twist the valve.
Remove the cartridge by wiggling as you pull, taking care to protect the stem. If the cartridge has a metal stem, reattach the handle to provide a better grip.
Check inside the valve for any other components and remove those.
Once all the parts have been removed from the valve, close the shower curtain or door.
Caution: the water may be very hot.
Turn both of the water supply valves on full and let the water run for 60-90 seconds.
Perform any maintenance on the removed components.
Reassemble the shower valve.
Check for leaks.

When switching from tub to shower there is a loud thud as water is diverted! Is this normal? Our water pressure is 45-50 psi.
