Plastic arts will only last a few months.
I bought this unit ~6 months ago and the mounting bracket, the side that screws on to the threaded water pipe already has a crack. Pressure is controlled for the whole house @ 50 psi. I can't find a replacement mounting bracket.

Great shower head. I was looking for another popular brand that I trust and found that this one fit my needs "on paper". I have hard water in my area. This delta has outlasted all of the other brands with similar features I have used.

Low Water Pressure
Have to agree with many of the other reviews regarding low water pressure. there is a restrictor in the handheld device, but it is not made to be removed. What's the point in 7 spray settings if there is no pressure to make them affective or enjoyable. Not very impressed with the model 7 its design

Low water flow, and shower head too high.
I bought this handheld shower to replace one that worked ok but I wanted more invigorating settings. I got just the opposite. Low water flow/pressure from all settings. And not much spray variety. (There’s nothing wrong with the pressure from the house pipes.)
Also, the shower head (installed the only way it can be), is too far above my head. I’m 5’8” and the shower head is 13” above the top of my head. It cannot be adjusted lower. It sprays to the back wall of the shower.
I did not find a water restrictor that could be removed. I’m the only one using the shower, so excessive water usage is not an issue. And I do not waste water regardless. I will continue to use it until I research more carefully other makes and models. It was easy to install and doesn’t leak so at least that’s going for it.

Item 75704 handheld showerhead
I bought this shower head which is hand held for my wife when she had her knee surgery six months ago, and it is not working the button sticks. The head is hard to turn to change positions total trash.

Ridiculous
Bought this but apparently Delta didn't understand the assessment because they don't even sell the correct sized wall mount for it!!! Oh did I mention that I bought it for $15 cheaper than Delta direct suppliers...terrible! No wonder my granny never bought Delta in the past!

Low water pressure
We bought this to replace/update an old handshower that worked great but was just getting old. We were looking for a Handshower that had good pressure and thought we had found it when the packaging says OPTIMAL PRESSURE right on the front of it. What a disappointment - there was no pressure. I also did not care for the feel of the handle/showerhead - It was too light\weight. I understand the comments from Delta about conserving water - but nowhere on the box does it say anything about conserving water - it only says Optimal Pressure. We are returning it today.
We purchased a Waterpik Powerpulse for the exact same price as we paid for this Delta and it is wonderful. Has the power we were looking for, the weight of the wand we like and is even better than the one we originally replaced.
Delta may have other handshowers that are better - but for this one to say on the package Optimal Pressure - it is misleading and a disappointment.
Do yourself a favor and do some research before purchasing this model and make sure that you can return it if you are not happy with it.

Removing from box, I see there is a black rubber washer with a taper and white plastic washer. Where do they go?

Pause button sticks and won't go in trickle mode without turning off water supply. Is there a fix?

The 75704 may have some debris causing the button to not switch properly, we would advise you to soak the hand shower in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. This would allow for the debris to be broken up and the button to function properly.

can i order the part that hooks on my shower plumbing and holds the shower head. its plastic and just tried to move it and it crack.it's plastic !
Mine disintegrated at the threaded portion the 2nd time I used it. Literally broke into 8 pieces. Was hand tightened.

what is the difference between 75704 and 75701c

Water will not come out of the head unless I press and hold the pause button. How can I get the water to come out without constantly pressing the button?

My shower head pause button is not working and won’t turn back on the water unless I’m pressing on it???
It's defective. I seriously doubt anyone at Delta will admit this as they have provided idiotic answers to the same issue raised by others. Mine is doing the same thing. It sounded as of a spring popped out of a socket when I pressed the button. Now it won't pause nor flow at full pressure.

How do I remove the water restrictor? I currently have to unscrew the shower head to rinse my hair. This doesn't save water since it takes three times as long to wash my hair and rinse off.

We do not recommend removing the flow restrictor from your hand shower. The Delta Faucet model 75704 7-Setting Hand Shower In Chrome is expected to receive 1.75 GPM at 80 PSI. The most common cause of a low flow rate is debris. The best way to clear any debris is to flush the supply lines. To do this, turn off the water supplies, remove the cartridge, and turn the supplies back on for one minute.
Please make sure that you are getting good flow through both the hot and cold sides while flushing. You can also shake the cartridge back and forth to make sure the back half of the cartridge rattles. This means that the pressure-balancing spool is moving freely, as it should.

The water barely comes out of the shower head. With my old shower head the windows would be all steamed. With this model 75704SN, the water hardly comes out. It's like a faucet hardly turned on. Can this be fixed.
