I need to replace the shower mount for model 75719sn, I unfortunately tightened it to much and it cracked

what's the difference between 75719 and 75740 delta handheld shower models
How many inches from the water pipe is this shower head once installed? It is hard to tell from the picture and I am looking at it in the store.
Is this apart of the universal showering units? I am looking to use it with Adjustable Wall Mount for Hand Shower in Matte Black Model#: U4005-BL-PK. Will it be compatible?

Can the shower arm mount pivot? That's not addressed in the instructions, and I've tried to loosen the large nut at the ball but it's taking so much force that I'm afraid of breaking it if it's not adjustable.
